The Solar Eclipse of Feb.15 in astrology.

There was a Solar Eclipse on February 15, at 8:53 PM GMT, ot 3:53 PM EST.

The eclipse was visible over Antarctica and southern South America. To the world in general, it acted as a strong lunation, except...
In a space of one day following the eclipse, there was a major earthquake in Mexico City, then an eruption of the volcano Popocatepetl. Then there were the shootings in Florida with all of its fall out. Then there were the indictments of the13 Russians made by Mueller. And then there was a terrorist attack in China, a mass stabbing in Kunming today, February 16, in which at least 29 people were killed. It is Chinese New Year. More will come.

A Solar eclipse in the 3rd decanate of Aquarius, according to old tradition, has the meaning: "a slaughter of sheep and beasts of the field." Beasts of the field is a biblical reference to the host of heaven. Sheep is a biblical reference to the flock, meaning the people. The people's faith is being sorely tested. Antarctica is the south magnetic pole. The south pole is the positive pole. The cosmic forces enter and leave the earth through the poles: in at the north pole, out at the south pole. This points, in other words, to a violent (series of) event(s) affecting the hosts of the heavens and the earth, or the entire world. There is a shift in extra-terrestrial forces happening now that will take some years to sort out. The affects of a solar eclipse run for at least one to three years. We can expect vast changes in the world in general. Aquarius, however, has a strong resonance with Arabia, and northern Germany especially Prussia and Westphalia, Poland, Lithuania, Sweden, Russia, etc.. The EU and Germany will go through major changes in the coming years, as will Russia. This is not all bad.

In UK, the eclipse falls in the 5th house with Mercury, Moon, Sun, Venus, and Neptune, showing complex diplomatic negotiations currently going on with the EU. Uranus in the 7th house brings complications but ingenious solutions. Moon rules the 10th house. The government will change.

In the USA the eclipse is in the 8th house. The eclipse Sun rules the 1st house, and the eclipse Moon rules the 12th, showing deaths of common people, also deaths of important people in high places, and among notible people particularly women. Sun also rules the 2nd house, bringing gains to the nation through taxation.
Meanwhile, Mercury, is in the 7th house, square to Jupiter, and sextile to Uranus. Uranus is in the 10th house. Jupiter is in the 4th house. It appears that despite the usual misdirection and befuddlement, unexpected or sudden moves will be taken by the President especially with regard to foreign affairs. He will make commercial agreements, and negotiate brilliantly with foreign powers.

The solar eclipse of 8/21/17 in astrology

The solar eclipse occurs on August 21, 2017 at 2:14 PM EDT. It is at 28 degrees Leo, a fire sign. An eclipse in a fixed sign (Leo being fixed) will have a long lasting effect, especially in the United States where it is visible.

An eclipse in a fire sign is destructive to cattle; threatens the ruler, and causes dissension among the people. It can trigger the movement of armies, fighting, fires; and possible scarcity of fruits of the earth especially in areas ruled by Leo, i.e. California and Hawaii.
By resonance with Leo, the following countries and cities could also be effected: France, Italy, and the Alps; and the following cities: Philadelphia, Rome, and Prague. Philadelphia could experience an uptick in violent crimes.

How negative or positive this eclipse is is shown by aspects of the Sun, the ruler of the eclipse. The Sun is exactly trine Uranus at 28 degrees Aries. The Sun, in the Aries decanate of Leo, also points to Mars. Mars is 20 degrees Leo (conjunct the Sun) exactly trine Saturn, 21 Sagittarius (trine the Sun), and exactly sextile Jupiter, 20 degrees Libra (sextile the Sun). In short, Uranus and Mars give the Sun good support. This eclipse, despite all, ultimately proves more positive than negative in effect.

This eclipse is also conjunct the star Regulus, one of the 4 Royal Stars. With the Sun, Regulus gives power, authority, great influence over friends, honor and riches, but danger of violence and ultimate ruin. With the Moon, as the Moon is eclipsing the Sun, it gives powerful friends but danger from false friends and enemies. This could be taken as a warning to the President.

A solar eclipse in the 3rd decanate of Leo (between 20 and 30 degrees Leo) is said to cause profanation of holy places, churches, and sacred edifices, monuments, also rioting and destruction of towns. We have already seen this happening in the days leading up to the eclipse; there will be more following.

It is possible that this eclipse will also set off earthquakes. It is interesting to note that the maximum eclipse appears to happen near the New Madrid fault, but points as well to Oregon. There are a number of areas that may be touched off within a year.
Where the eclipse appears at the zenith, in MDT, is also where there could be earthquakes.

The eclipse taken at the Washington DC, the capitol, is in the 9th house. In the 9th house we find Mars, the North Node, Moon, Sun, and Mercury, retrograde. The eclipse is trine Uranus, Mars is exactly sextile Jupiter and Saturn. So, the 9th house stands out as very important. The 9th house is the law courts, legal matters, religion and clergy, foreign trade, science, invention, etc.
There will be important, far reaching developments in the area of foreign trade, as shown by this eclipse. Mars, the ruler of the 5th house, involves diplomacy, and Moon, the ruler of the 8th house, speaks of finances.

The eclipse is 28 degrees Leo exactly trine Uranus, 28 Aries. Uranus is in the 10th house of the New York Stock Exchange chart. This is indicative of growth.

The Washington chart shows the following about the President. He is ruled by Mercury, as Mercury rules the 10th house. Mercury is in Virgo in the 9th house retrograde in orb of opposition Neptune in the 3rd, also retrograde. Mercury in Virgo is in his best place and strong. Retrograde in the 9th is shying away from public notice. Opposite Neptune is subject to many false rumors. The media and press, ruled by the 3rd house, promotes false rumors. Mercury and Neptune, both retrograde, will repeat and repeat. There is a terribly dysfunctional relationship between the President and the media.

Mercury retrograde shows some plans falling through or being postponed. The President changes his mind and backs out of whatever he's planning. Mercury is zodiac square to the Ascendant showing his changes of mind disadvantageous to some, but is mundane trine to the Ascendant, showing the opposite. Some will like him and some won't is what it boils down to.

Donald Trump's birth chart, Ascendant is at 29:58 degrees Leo, and his Mars is at 26:47 Leo. The eclipse, at 28:52 Leo is midpoint his Ascendant and Mars. This will impel him to take some very strongly assertive actions. Nothing about war is shown.
If the eclipse were exactly conjunct his Ascendant or Mars, which it isn't, there would be reason to predict Trump's demise. However, it is unlikely. It is clear, nonetheless, that he has serious challenges coming up.

Early repercussions of the eclipse are shown on September 2nd and 3rd when Mars passes over the eclipse degree. Also on September 4th when Moon comes to opposition the eclipse degree. Also September 3rd through 7th Mercury stations conjunct the eclipse degree. Mercury turns direct on September 5th. So, the entire 1st week in September will be interesting to watch.
There will be a number of other times of repercussion; the coming solar eclipse on February 15, 2018 at 27 degrees Aquarius, opposite this eclipse, for example.

The solar eclipse of Sept. 1, 2016 in astrology

The solar eclipse of Sept. 1 comes at 10:19 AM GMD. It is at 9 degrees Virgo, forming a tight T-square with Saturn and Mars in Sagittarius, and Neptune in Pisces.

A solar eclipse in the first decanate of Virgo is read as causing great calamity, and death of some head of state, or king. Countries and regions of interest, ruled by Virgo, include Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Kurdestan; also Switzerland, the West Indies, Crete, Croatia, Greece, and Brazil. Cities under Virgo include Jerusalem, Paris, Lyons, Toulouse, Strasburg, Boston, and Los Angeles.
The eclipse is visible through central Africa. It spells calamitous conditions for that region.

The affects coming from the eclipse last at least one year. Transits to the eclipse degree will trigger repercussions. The eclipse is at 9 degrees Virgo. Neptune is at 10 degrees Pisces (opposite the eclipse). Neptune currently retrograde, arrives at 9 degrees Pisces exactly opposite the eclipse on September 27, turns direct at 9 degrees Pisces on November 20, and goes back to 10 degrees Pisces on January 11. This means that the general condition in the world between later September and mid-January is going to be more chaotic than it is now, and that we will see what is meant by calamity and death of heads of state. Other transits to the eclipse degree will happen. For instance, Mars will oppose the eclipse degree on December 31 and January 1, warning us of violence around New Years Eve. Mars also moves to square the eclipse on May 4 and 5. Also lunar transits to the eclipse degree will cause repercussions, the first coming on September 15 when the Moon is opposite the eclipse.

Current news about the difficulties that the Deutsche Bank is also shown in the eclipse. The original birth chart of Deutsch Bank, first founded as an international commerce bank on January 22, 1870 in Berlin, has Venus 10:27 in Pisces in the 1st house; Neptune 16:57 in the 1st house; Jupiter 11:29 Taurus in the 2nd house, and Pluto, ruler of the 9th house of internation trade in the 2nd house conjunct Jupiter. Deutche Bank is extremaly rich and powerful, but, at this point is in considerable hot water. The important planet to note here is Venus. The bank's natal Venus is at 10:27 Pisces. We see transiting Neptune now at 10:40 Pisces retrograde. Venus, in the original chart, rules the 8th house of debts, credit and derivatives. Neptune shows a bubble in credit and derivative, and fradulent manipulation. Neptune currently retrograde promisses more woes to come to Deutche Bank through this year and well into 2017. The eclipse is almost exactly opposite Neptune conjunct the bank's natal Venus, showing how much danger it is in. This is exacerbated by the square aspect to Saturn and Mars. In the eclipse chart for Berlin Mars and Saturn are in the 2nd house showing an extremely dangerous financial condition.  It threatens Germany. If this is not strictly controlled by the German government it will cause an economic crisis not only in Germany, but in all of Europe and so on. It is interesting to note: Deutsche Bank's natal Saturn is at 24:19 Sagittarius. Saturn will be at 24 degrees Sagittarius in early February, 2017. This means that the bank is coming to a Saturn return in early February, 2017, and will be involved in a process of reorganization with probable streamlining, meaning losses of jobs.
The eclipse happens at the zenith of Berlin. Neptune is in the 4th house, and Mars and Saturn are in the 2nd house. This shows growing chaos in Germany, not to mention Europe. There is increasing opposition to the current government that will ultimately fall from power.

The eclipse in Bruxelles is in the 11th house in a stellium. Sun, Moon, north node, Jupiter, and Mercury are in the 11th house in Virgo, and Venus is in the 11th house in Libra: there are 5 planets with the north node in the 11th house. The 11th house signifies the parliament. There is trouble in the entire parliamentary governance of the EU as shown by this eclipse. The eclipse is opposite Neptune in the 5th house and square Saturn and Mars in the 2nd house. A major issue lies diplomatic relations connected to economic woes. This has something to do with ties to the UK. The European stock markets are also in danger of falling.

The eclipse in Ankara, Turkey, Turkey being ruled by Virgo, is in the 10th house. Mars and Saturn are in the 1st house. This is very bad for the government except that Jupiter is also in the 10th house, and gives protection. It, nonetheless, spells war.

The eclipse in Moscow is in the 10th house along with north node, Jupiter, Mercury, and Venus. And Saturn and Mars are in the 1st house. There is a tremendous activity in the top levels of the government, and the outlook is warlike. Because the eclipse is at the zenith at these longitudes of the world, we can expect the violence there to intensify. Russia will be all the more directly involved in the conflict in Syria, as will Turkey. The situation for Assad is extremely dangerous. The war in Syria will get worse. Assad is in serious danger.

The eclipse in London is similar to Bruxelles. It shows danger for the banks and stock market, and difficulties in diplomatic relations connected to Parliament. The eclipse opposite Neptune spells a split with EU, but with lingering questions unresolved.

The eclipse in Washington DC is in the 1st house opposite Neptune in the 7th and square Saturn and Mars in the 4th, showing general unrest, ill health, and discontentment among the people. In the 2nd house, however, we find Jupiter conjunct Mercury in Virgo, and conjunct Venus in Libra. This shows good and improving economic conditions.

An astrological view of the solar eclipse of March 9

The solar eclipse came on March 9 at 2:07 AM GMT. It was at 18:56 Pisces.

A solar eclipse in the middle section of Pisces, according to tradition, presages tidal waves. This eclipse was fully visible over Indonesia. There is a strong probability of seismic and tsunami activity coming to Indonesia and that region as an effect of this eclipse. It could also cause a volcanic explosion. When this happens could be this month, or any time within a year at most, as repercussions of solar eclipses tend to spin out over time.

And eclipse in Pisces unleashes chaos.

The effects of this eclipse for the world in general, looking at the planetary aspects are as follows.

The eclipse in Pisces is exactly opposite Jupiter in Virgo. The polarity of Pisces and Virgo has generally to do with labor and services, public health, food, and military services.
Pisces has generally to do with issues of asylum, hospitals, prisons, charitable institutions, crime, secret military, and terrorism.
Virgo has to do with health, food, military services.
The eclipse opposite Jupiter points to serious upsets in the migrant situation, probable terrorist activities tied to transportation, streets, roads, bridges, ships. The situation is a big mess.
The eclipse is exactly conjunct Germany's Moon (of the chart of German political unification of 10/3/1990). So, this eclipse brings trouble to Germany's legal system, law courts; shipping and trade relations; and foreign relations, overshadowing and potentially upsetting affairs of the federal government. The Moon is also the people in general. The people, as shown by this eclipse, are very deeply distressed. The eclipse may divide the people.Germany is in for a year of trouble. Merkel will probably be voted out in the upcoming elections.
The eclipse also points to epidemics, possibly affected by migrant populations, or by deliberate criminal activity.
There will be food shortages, possibly tied to failed crops, problems with food processing, and/or problems with international food transport.
There will be large losses of money spent on migrants. This will increase the general poverty.
Crime will rise.
Secret military activity will increase.

Jupiter is involved in several aspects that are triggered by the eclipse. These are as follows.
Jupiter is closing a tight square with Saturn.
Juipiter is quincunx Uranus, and Saturn is trine with Uranus.
Jupiter is trine Pluto, and Pluto is square Uranus.
In a nutshell, these aspects point to a spike in underground criminal activity, especially theft, involving people in high places. It also suggests huge sums of money being used for secret criminal activities possibly linked to terrorist activities.

At the eclipse, Mercury was also applying to conjunction with Neptune in Pisces. Pisces is Mercury's weakest sign. In conjunction with Neptune, lots of confusion, trickery, and lying especially running through the media can be expected. In the political situation, this can mean rampant underhandedness, and scandal mongering.

The effects of this eclipse, especially for NYC, are bad for the market. The eclipse, as well as Mercury and Neptune, show up in the 5th house in NYC. The 5th house rules speculation. What is means, in a nutshell, is that the stock market will be erratic through the coming months. We see both Mars and Saturn in the 2nd house. Mars is square Mercury and Neptune. Saturn is square Jupiter and the eclipse. Fluctuations will involve some sharp drops.

The upside of this is that there are a lot more events in the heavens that can mitigate this one's effects. I would not, however, advise wearing rose colored glasses, Pisces notwithstanding.

The solar eclipse of September 13, 2015

The solar eclipse of September 13 occurred at 7:55 AM GMD. It was a partial eclipse at 20 degrees Virgo, and was visible from the area of South Africa down to Antarctica. The effects of a solar eclipse are periodic through at least one year, and can extend up to three. This eclipse will be followed by a total lunar eclipse on September 28 at 4 degrees Aries.

An eclipse over the ice shelf of Antarctica suggests that there could be a break in the ice affecting the ocean in the southern hemisphere this coming summer.

A traditional reading of a solar eclipse in the 3rd decanate of Virgo points to troubles and adversity, with possible imprisonment of artists and those who live by their wits, in other words, dissidents.

The eclipse is involved in very few aspects. It forms only one aspect: sextile Saturn at 29 degrees Scorpio. An eclipse in Virgo has to do with food, supplies, and medicine. It's aspect with Saturn, especially in Scorpio, suggests want. 29 degrees is at the end of its tether, and gives something to weep about, as it is opposite the Pleiades, aka The Weeping Sisters. This points to many people in desperate straights.

Countries and regions ruled by Virgo include Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Kurdistan, the Greek islands, the Balkans, Switzerland, and so on. Cities ruled by Virgo include Paris, Jerusalem, and others.

Toward and around this eclipse we see the migration for better or worse of people coming up into Europe from those parts of the world ruled by Virgo.

The eclipse, as seen in the charts for UK and EU, is in the 12th house. This points to a huge burden on welfare and a rise in criminal activity to be expected over the coming months. Mercury is in the 1st house, square to Pluto in the 4th house, and opposite Uranus in the 7th house. The people, especially, as seen in Greece and eastern Europe, are alarmed. Disturbing reports will come out later this and next week when Mercury turns retrograde and Pluto turns direct.

The eclipse, as seen in the chart for the US, is in the 2nd house. Jupiter is also in the 2nd house. While this should bring a boost to stock market economic activity, it is not entirely reliable, and warns of stock market losses as well. Jupiter is opposite Neptune in the 8th house. It points out deceptive conditions. And the eclipse is quincunx to Uranus. Uranus is retrograde in Aries in the 10th house of the NYSE. It warns of erratic conditions. On the other side of the world, in China, the eclipse happens in the 8th house. Mars and Jupiter are in the 8th house as well, and Jupiter is in opposition with Neptune in the 2nd house warning of losses. The Chinese chart is the mirror opposite of the US chart. Both US and Chinese charts interact. Chinese conditions affect American conditions, and vice versa. Neptune in opposition with Jupiter confuses matters in both places. Manipulating the markets is tricky business. Neptune in the 2nd house in the Chinese chart denotes unfortunate manipulation of the markets.

Speaking of finances, Switzerland, the land of banks, is indicated as affected by this eclipse in Virgo. Virgo also rules foods and medicines, in other words, Big Ag, and Big Pharma, and related companies. Watch banks, agricultural corporations, food commodities, and pharmaceutical corporations. Merck is a Swiss pharmaceutical company.

The eclipse, as seen in the chart for Iran, is in the 10th house. Jupiter is in the 10th house as well. Jupiter is in detriment in Virgo, so not as strong. An eclipse in the 10th house bodes ill for the Government. The traditional reading for this is disaster. Because the eclipse was not visible in Iran the reading must be modified. Nonetheless, it does not look sanguine for the Government of that country. Saturn is in the 1st house in this chart. Saturn at 29 degrees Scorpio in the 1st house is very evil. It shows distress and discontentment. Pluto is in the 2nd house. Poverty is in Iran. All the hatred the Government generates in the people is misdirection. It is how the Government distracts attention from itself. Saturn is in mutual reception with Pluto. Saturn and Pluto are in semi-square aspect. It says ways around the trouble generate different kinds of trouble, including underground activity, possibly drug trafficking. Mercury in the 11th house is square Pluto in the 2nd house and opposite Uranus in the 5th house. There is a great deal of economic disorder and theft.

The eclipse, as seen in the chart for Australia, is in the 7th house. Jupiter is in the 6th opposite Neptune in the 12th. The eclipse in the 7th house brings difficulties in foreign relations, or conflicts with foreigners living in Australia.

An overview of the world's tensions in 2015 as seen in astrology

In light of the unfolding situation the following nine charts were drawn up to get a general sense of how it moves in time. The charts are:

4. Lunar eclipse, 4/4/15

9. Winter solstice, 12/22/15

The solstices, equinoxes, solar eclipses, and lunar eclipses are traditional markers for predicting world events. Without going into great detail, the following is what they show.

At the winter solstice, 12/21/14, Uranus was in a tight square with Pluto (Uranus 12:34 Aries, Pluto 12:08 Capricorn). This is a violent aspect dealing with issues of control and defiance. Also Saturn was at 29 degrees Scorpio telling of a weeping matter to come during the winter quarter. We've already seen some, and will see more.

The solar eclipse of 3/20 is at 29 degrees Pisces. 29 degrees of any sign foretells a weeping matter. The effects of a solar eclipse generally last one year. In this eclipse chart Mars and Uranus are both square Pluto. Mars is in conjunction with Uranus. The square of Uranus and Pluto is exact, as in the winter solstice chart. We also have Saturn coming to square Neptune which will add to general unrest and suffering, especially among the poor and destitute. It will also intensify the religious mania we see nowadays. It is important to point out that the solar eclipse occurs at the zenith in Europe. The spring quarter, not to mention the rest of the year, will be troubled there. A traditional reading of a solar eclipse at the end of Pisces is cruelty and inhumanity of soldiers. We can be certain that terrorist activities will continue and increase in intensity into and through the spring, and then through this entire year into the next.

The spring equinox, 3/20/15 has the same aspects as the solar eclipse except the Sun has moved to 00 degrees Aries.

The lunar eclipse of 4/4/15 has a T-Square of the Moon in Libra opposing Sun conjunct Uranus in Aries, and these square Pluto in Capricorn. Saturn is now square Neptune. The effects of a lunar eclipse generally last three months. It is reasonable to say that up to and beyond the lunar eclipse of April 4, the world tension will intensify greatly. A traditional reading of a lunar eclipse in the middle of Libra is generally pernicious: evil for everyone.

It appears that the spring is the most violent. Beyond the spring the tensions should begin to ease somewhat.

By the summer solstice of 6/21/15 Uranus has moved far enough away from the square to Pluto to have eased its tension. But, we see the Moon at 29 Leo exactly square Saturn at 29 Scorpio. It is a depressive aspect, but it does not suggest an economic slump, because we find Jupiter at 19 degrees Leo tightly trine to Uranus at 20 degrees Aries, Aries being the mid-heaven of the NY Stock Exchange chart. The market will in general be going up in the summer. The Jupiter trine Mars will cause a surge in the market.

Saturn is again at 29 degrees Scorpio in the solar eclipse chart of 9/13/15 (Saturn is at 29 Scorpio in the winter solstice chart of 12 21/14, the summer solstice chart of 6/21/15, and in this solar eclipse chart of 9/13/15). Uranus and Pluto are still weakly square. The solar eclipse is at 20 degrees Virgo. A traditional reading for a solar eclipse in the 3rd decanate of Virgo leads us to believe that, depending on conditions, people will be punished for freedom of expression. By the time of the solar eclipse, Jupiter will have moved into Virgo, the sign of his detriment. We find Jupiter at the solar eclipse in tight opposition with Neptune generating no small degree of confusion. Considering the reading of the eclipse in the 3rd decanate of Virgo, insane things will be said, and there will be a lot of misunderstandings.

The fall equinox of 9/23/15 has Saturn in Sagittarius. Even though Saturn first entered Sagittarius on 12/24/14, he backs out and goes into Scorpio again. Fall equinox 2015 really marks the first major time in the Saturn transit that puts him firmly inside Sagittarius. Saturn in Sagittarius is applying to square Neptune. At the fall equinox the square is not strong enough, but it is pointing to an increase in unrest among the poor as well as of infectious diseases that may be spread through travel. Jupiter, at the fall equinox is opposite Neptune. This is not lucky for the stock market, as Neptune and Jupiter both rule the MC of the NYSE. The market will act erratically. Jupiter afflicted in Virgo is also a bad sign for food and medicine. Opposite Neptune it warns of contamination. Crops could be blighted, and there could be die offs in the ocean due to contamination.

The lunar eclipse of 9/28 is at 4 degrees Aries. The hard aspects of Uranus and Pluto, and of Saturn and Neptune are still fairly weak, so the tensions are not as pronounced as in the spring. A traditional reading of a lunar eclipse in the beginning of Aries is fires and fevers, however.

But the winter solstice of 12/22/15, Saturn has moved to exact square Neptune, and Uranus has come to a tight square with Pluto again. It is a troubled time. Nonetheless, the Uranus square to Pluto will not reach exact again, but will dissipate through 2016, a year in which we will see general tensions easing along with a gradual easing of general financial conditions.

The October eclipses

There were two eclipses in October, a lunar eclipse on Oct. 8, and a solar eclipse on Oct. 23. Here are some of the things they show.

The Lunar eclipse of Oct. 8 was at 15 degrees Aries. A traditional reading of a lunar eclipse in the middle of Aries is pestilence. The first thing that comes to mind is ebola. If this is so, we can expect it to run rampant over the coming three months, at least. This will happen, especially in west Africa.
The eclipsed Moon was in conjunction with Uranus at 14 degrees Aries, and in grand trine in Fire, showing rapid growth, the grand trine being between the eclipsed Moon and Uranus at 15 and 14 degrees Aries, respectively, Mars at 16 degrees Sagittarius and Jupiter at 17 degrees Leo. The Moon was also opposite Venus at 10 degrees Libra showing losses.

The Eclipse Moon was in the 10th house of the chart of the NY Stock Exchange. While the fall equinox chart showed positive growth, from Jupiter trine Uranus, Uranus being in the 10th house of the stock exchange chart, the eclipse shows a more erratic picture developing. In the lunar eclipse chart Jupiter, separating from trine Uranus, is coming to square Saturn. With the eclipse in the 10th house of the stock exchange, and with Jupiter square Saturn, an erratic pattern has been developing. It is seen more clearly in the solar eclipse chart in which Jupiter is in tighter square to Saturn. This developing square presages a downward trend in certain sectors of the market in the summer of 2015 and spring of 2016 when Jupiter will be in exact sinister square Saturn. Sinister square means cutting off dead wood. The market will make necessary corrections. At that time the general discontentment with and in both political parties will also grow much louder. Jupiter and Saturn are the significators of the Republicans and Democrats, respectively. Saturn will be in peregrine in Sagittarius, and Jupiter will be in detriment in Virgo, bad for both. Both parties need to clean up their act. The Democrats will abandon their Potus.

The current Jupiter Saturn cycle began in the spring of 2000 that saw the beginning of the housing boom, now history. The cycle reached Jupiter dexter square Saturn in late 2006, the peak of the housing market, soon to turn. Then it came to Jupiter opposite Saturn in spring, 2011 at the low point of the recession, still on-going for many people, despite what the Government wants you to think, and in mid to late 2016 the cycle comes to Jupiter sinister square Saturn when the market will have to make corrections; it could mean deepening poverty for many people in the world. Not everything will go south, however; the lunar north node will be in Virgo, a fairly high place for the business cycle, the highest places being Leo and Cancer. So, the corrections won't mean a general disaster, despite what certain fear mongers would have you believe. The mood is fearful these days. The next Jupiter Saturn cycle will begin in 6 years, in the fall of 2020 in Capricorn, marking the start of a new cycle of growth and decay in world wide business and financial organization. The real estate market, especially in the more desirable locations, will be high at that time. It could remain high into the mid 20s (2025) when the lunar node is in Pisces and Jupiter is again past dexter square Saturn. New organization in the '20s will make for a more orderly, constructive trend in the world. Technology will advance very far. One of the more hopeful signs will be in the field of agriculture. By 2020 we will be long past the strife shown by the Uranus-Pluto square of 2011 through 2015. I would say the housing market will reach its peak in the early to mid 20s. If you think of selling, wait if you can. The turning point could be towards 2025. The later 20s into early 30s could see a developing major international conflict, or war in which this country is attacked.

The Solar Eclipse at 00 degrees Scorpio falls exactly conjunction the natal Sun of Queen Elizabeth, and exactly conjunction the natal Moon of Prince Charles. It presages deaths in the royal family within 1 to 2 years. The progressed and directed charts of Prince Charles confirm this. We don't say who. The solar eclipse chart for the UK, putting Uranus in the 10th house square Pluto in the 6th, also shows sudden disruptions, or emergencies coming up with the probable defeat of the current Government within a year, unless extreme measures are taken. Huge sums of money are in danger of being lost. Poverty is a major issue in both UK and the EU.
Venus, in the solar eclipse chart, is in Via Combust Way, in her detriment, and in conjunction with the eclipse, therefore completely burnt out and powerless. In the UK chart, she rules the 11th house, meaning the Parliament. We can expect noticeable changes to come in this area.

The UK chart, being close to Bruxelles, this solar eclipse chart shows similar conditions, and changes to come to the Governance of the EU within 1 year.

In China the solar eclipse falls in the 1st house, with Venus ruling the 1st house. This reflects the serious discontentment and unrest of the people, especially in Hong Kong. It shows a great need for changes this coming year to mitigate more unsatisfactory conditions bound to develop. Jupiter is in the 10th house benefiting the ruling circle. But Jupiter is square Saturn in the 2nd house denoting a strong disparity between the wealthy and the poor of that country. This, and other economic considerations must be addressed.

The solar eclipse in the beginning of Scorpio traditionally presages war, bloodshed, treason, and treachery. Scorpio rules such places as Turkey, Judea (Israel), Syria, Algeria, Catalonia, and so on; and such cities as Washington DC, Baltimore; Liverpool, UK, and so on.

The 4/29/14 solar eclipse as seen in Chinese astrology

The solar eclipse on April 29 at 8 degrees Taurus comes at a time of sharp cosmic tension due to a grand cardinal cross involving the planets Uranus, Jupiter, Mars and Pluto in Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, respectively. The eclipse is visible over Antarctica, Indonesia and Australia. It presages crises with forced changes in the world over the coming months; also increasing seismic activity and storms. This eclipse presages trouble in business and trade, and destruction to corn and other food crops as well. There is growing tension between west and east. Western sanctions against Russia would be a very bad sign if they happened.

As seen in Chinese astrology we are in the year of Wood Horse; and the eclipse, being a new moon, marks the month of Earth Snake. Earth Snake, in itself, is a violent combination. The combination is called Knife Blade. In the earth it indicates violent events like earthquakes and storms. In the human world it indicates bad-tempered, arrogant people being angry and reactive. In the political and business spheres we will see insane behavior increasing over the coming months.

Earth Snake and Wood Horse combine to generate strong Earth and Fire. It is hot and dry. We will see great heat developing the coming months that will cause disastrous storms especially in the Indian ocean and western Pacific.

Looking at this from another angle, Earth Snake is a combination that produces Wood. And Wood Horse is a combination that produces Metal. Metal kills Wood. The sign of the year clashes with the sign of the month. This clash forces change. The Earth in Earth Snake also combines with the Horse of the year to produce opportunities for prosperity through all this discord. This means that this is a time for aggressive opportunists. Crisis brings opportunity. The force generated by this eclipse is very dynamic and should be used intelligently.

The year, month, day and hour of the eclipse, according to the Chinese calendar, when reduced to an I Ching hexagram gives us hexagram 21, line 6. Hexagram 21 is called Biting Through. It is am omen of disaster. It advises making sacrifices to get rid of evil spirits and bad influences. In other words, it means let go of bad attitudes and behaviors now. Worry will dissipate; happiness will come. The hexagram also speaks of criminals thrown in jail.
The 6th line of this hexagram warns of the danger of being deaf to counsel. It gives the image of someone's neck being locked in an instrument of torture and unable to hear. It means bad luck for the heedless and arrogant. Incorrigibility brings bad luck.

The Taurus solar eclipse in astrology

The solar eclipse at 19 degrees Taurus occurred at 1:21 AM GMT on May 10. It was in conjunction with Mars and Mercury at 14 and 17 degrees Taurus, respectively. And it was widely opposite Saturn at 7 degrees Scorpio. The eclipse was visible over eastern Australia, New Zealand and across much of the Pacific, affecting the Ring of Fire where we may expect increased seismic and volcanic activity. The affects of the solar eclipse last over one year.

Where the eclipse appears in the angles of the chart (the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th houses) is where it has noticeable physical affects in the earth itself. Accordingly, the eclipse appears in the 1st house in Tehran, Iran, in the 4th house in Reykjavik, Iceland, in the 7th house in San Francisco, California, and in the 10th house in Tokyo, Japan and Sydney, Australia. There will be increased seismic and volcanic activity in Ring of Fire in the western Pacific and along the coast of north America and down into Mexico and beyond; there will be earthquakes in Iran, possible volcanic activity in Iceland and/or the Canaries, and possible tremors in the mid Atlantic and Caribbean.

The chart for Iran amplifies the prediction of earthquakes there from the lunar eclipse of April 25. A significant earthquake will very probably happen in the area around Iran, the Caspian sea and the Caucasus this year.

The solar eclipse in the middle decanate of Taurus conjunct Mars opposite Saturn is violent. A traditional reading of a solar eclipse in this part of Taurus points out dangers to travelers, and to women in childbirth.

The solar eclipse in the UK is in the 3rd house. it brings increased dangers of accidents in connection to roads and railways. Stocks in railways may lose value. It also spells losses in areas of literary undertakings, including publishing ventures in books, newspapers and magazines, and internet activity. There is also plenty of arguing and anger on the streets. The 4th house of the UK chart is at 25 degrees Taurus, conjunct the star Algol, saying that quarreling goes to the point of people losing their heads.

The solar eclipse chart in the EU as seen from Bruxelles is almost the same as in the UK. There is a lot of arguing going on. The 4th house cusp of the Bruxelles chart is at 29 degrees Taurus, conjunct the Pleiades. This says that the quarreling becomes a weeping matter.

The solar eclipse in Iran has Mars, Mercury, Sun, Moon, and Venus in the 1st house. Mars is closest to the Ascendent. The country is in a warlike spirit. Mars opposite Saturn in the 7th house is extremely unfortunate. It causes the people to become discontent. There are possibilities of riots, terrorist activity, crimes. The people are angry. If Iran is attacked this year it will be extremely unfortunate.

The solar eclipse in Australia, as well as Japan, has Mars, Mercury, the Sun, Moon, and Venus in the 10th house. An eclipse in the 10th house spells defeat of the current Government. Mars in the 10th house opposite Saturn brings much trouble to the Government, and a notable death in the highest of circles, possibly in the Government.

The solar eclipse in the US is in the 6th house with Mars and Mercury in the 6th house as well. This is unfortunate for the working class; there is an increasing sense of discontentment; the job market is weak. The general health of the people will suffer; Mars, Mercury and the eclipsed Sun in Taurus show a mood of depression. The eclipse in the 6th house also suggests that there may be a notable death in military circles, and that military affairs will tend to be unfortunate.

The solar eclipse as seen in astrology

The solar eclipse at 21 degrees Scorpio was at 10:19 PM GMT, November 3. The affects of a solar eclipse unfold over one to three years, the first year being the most significant. 21 degrees Scorpio is in the 3rd decanate of that sign. A solar eclipse in the 3rd decanate of Scorpio denotes the rise of a tyrant, and the hatred of the people against their rulers. We now have in the United States a surprising movement of people to secede. It won't happen at this time, but it is an ominous sign of the deep discontentment of the people that has been brewing for years as well as secretive maneuvering involving certain individuals in the military, political circles, and the Government.

The eclipse happens in the 19th lunar mansion. This lunar masion, called Azarala, unsettles commercial activities, but favors the persuit of personal ideas; it is a good time to go hunting, as it were. Mars, the dispositor of the eclipse is forming sextile aspect with Neptune. This favors the adventurous spirit that the eclipse is showing.

Scorpio, the sign in which we find the eclipse, is ruled by Mars and Pluto. The aspects of Mars and Pluto are Mars sextile Neptune, and Pluto square Uranus. These say that the affects of the eclipse are mixed good and not good. We see also that Mercury is retrograde and is exactly square Neptune, and that gives Mars licence to do some pretty adventurous mischief, so the eclipse has an air of danger of treachery. The square of Mercury and Neptune is very significant, as it denotes fraudulence and underhandedness in world affairs. It also denotes scandals happening everywhere.

The eclipse was visible in the far southwestern Pacific, and passed over northern Australia. It reached total in Australia at 9:19 AM on November 14, in the 11th house. This denotes upsets in Parliamentary affairs. Mercury is also in the 11th house and, square to Neptune in the 3rd house, denotes deceptions by the press. There are also dangers of mishaps while traveling, especially on water. Mercury retrograde also rules the 10th house. Applying to square Neptune, who rules the 4th house, it appears the Prime Minister or other leading figure in the Government would wish to avoid a potentially chaotic quarrel with the opposition; some ugly and distorted things will come out. The media in Australia, as shown by this eclipse, is in the dark, and is distracting the people and lying about something. Mars is in the 12th house showing trouble behind the scenes.

The eclipse in New Zealand was at 11:19 AM in the 10th house. It is telegraphing a significant earthquake or volcanic eruption to come over the course of the year. The solar eclipse in the 10th house is also very unfortunate for the Government. The eclipsed Sun rules the 8th house of this chart, and denotes the death of a leading figure in the country, very possibly someone in the higest circles of the Government.

The eclipse in the UK and the EU was in the 4th house denoting the land itself, and the opposition to the Government. Harsh winter conditions will develop. The eclipsed Sun rules the Ascendent of this chart. This denotes that the people are tremendously upset. Serious problems in the Eurozone are coming. Pluto will transit the Euro Sun and UK Sun to bring worse turmoil in this region in December and into 2013. Pluto is square Uranus. Deep organizational crises are working out. Greece is at the brink of defaulting. It may happen in December. In the eclipse chart for the UK and EU we have Mercury square Neptune in the 7th house denoting treachery and double dealing on the part of foreign powers. Mercury rules the 2nd house. The 2nd house is the treasury and banks. Double dealing involves money and banking. Europe is vulnerable to international crime, plots, schemes, secret attacks, and scandals.

The eclipse in the USA was in the 6th house with Mercury in the 6th house square Neptune in the 10th. A scandal in the military involving the Administration is unfolding. The press is involved as shown by the Moon ruling the 3rd house of the chart. The eclipse happens in interception in the 6th house. This shows that the trouble is very deep and that much of it escapes attention. There is more to it than is being revealed. Mercury ruling the 2nd house square Neptune in the 10th house mutual reception Uranus in the 11th house shows alot of tricky business involving the economy, the Congress and the Executive branch of the Government. The eclipsed Sun ruling the 4th house is showing that the opposition to the President, while eclipsed, is involved in a deep and secret way in what is showing on the surface to be a scandal involving Petraeus. There appears to be some deep power brokering happening involving the military, the highest circles of the Government, and the economic forces. The eclipse does not show international conflict coming. Jupiter who rules the 7th house of this chart is retrograde and in the 1st house. It shows foreign powers disinclined to conflict with the US at this point. The eclipse Sun ruling the 4th house also shows that the opposition to the Administration is extremely discontent. The Sun at 21 degrees is on a critical degree. The discontentment is being experienced as a crisis. This explains the secessionist movement.

Mercury is the ruler of the Ascendent of the USA eclipse chart. Mercury is retrograde. The people will back down. There won't be any secession at this time. The movement is running into confusion as shown by Mercury exactly square Neptune. It is possible, from what this chart looks like, that people in the Government and/or military are involved in this secessionist movement. The eclipse Sun rules the 4th house. The 4th house is the opposition to the Administration. The eclipse happens in interception in the 6th house. It involves the military, and interception means secrecy. It is this writers opinion that there is a connection between the recent firings of Petraeus and other high ranking military personel and the secessionist movement; it is possible that the secessionist movement is in part triggered by individuals connected with the military and opposed to Obama. This is more complex than it may appear to be.

The solar eclipse in Gemini

The solar eclipse in Gemini happens at midnight GMT on May 21st. It is visible from Thailand to New Mexico, across the Pacific and pulling on the Ring of Fire including southern China, Japan, and the west coast of the US. Earthquake activity may follow this event. In light of the fragile condition of Fukushima, and that this eclipse is visible over Japan, we have cause for concern.

The eclipse is at 00 degrees Gemini. Repercussions can happen when the Moon transits square, opposite, and conjunction the eclipse degree on May 28th, June 3rd, June 9th, and June 16th, and so on. The eclipse degree is sensitive for at least one year, so that transits of the planets square, opposite, and conjunction the eclipse will register events. For example, Jupiter will come to conjunction the eclipse degree on June 12th to 15th. And Mars will come to opposition the eclipse degree on October 7th and 8th.

A solar eclipse in the 1st decanate of Gemini is said to arouse dissention and strife in the world, especially among clergy and in religious circles. It also causes hatred, and contempt for law.

To clear up the confusion currently circulating about this eclipse, the eclipse cycle is 19 years. That means that every 19 years an eclipse happens in the same place. In other words,19 years ago there was a solar eclipse at 00 Gemini just like there is a eclipse at 00 Gemini today.
The eclipse is not in a precise alignment with the Pleaides. Pleaides is in Taurus. The eclipse is in Gemini. The distance between the eclipse and the Pleaides is over 2 degrees, which, when translated into miles, equals light years considering the distance of the Sun to those stars.
This eclipse does not represent an event that happens once every 26,000 years. The 26,000 years is an approximate number for the precession of equinoxes. The fixed stars appear to move backwards against the Zodiac approximately 50" a year.

If we read the eclipse as being in conjunction with the Pleaides, we have to see that the violence denoted by the 1st decanate of Gemini is only exacerbated by the Pleaides. Sun and Moon on Pleaides is traditionally linked with blindness, physical and spiritual, and violence.

An outstanding aspect from the eclipse is its square to Neptune. Perhaps this accounts for the fantastic confusion now circulating about this event. At any rate, the eclipse square Neptune is spreading in the world a strong discontentment amongst the poor against the wealthy, unrelenting powers of imperialism.

We also see the square aspect between Uranus and Pluto coming into focus, Uranus now at 7 degrees Aries, and Pluto at 9 degrees Capricorn. This shows the growing tension between large corporate, financial and political organizations and challenging forces; the structures will not hold up due to underground criminality in the circles of world power. Pluto will play a strong role in the coming months in the situation of the Eurozone, the UK, and Washington DC. The square of Uranus and Pluto reaches exact in June, next month, at 8 degrees Aries and Capricorn, resp. This square aspect will register very strongly through the summer months, as shown in the Summer Solstice chart. The situation in the world is going to heat up through the summer and fall months.
Even more significantly, the square of Uranus and Pluto will reach exact again in April, 2014 at 13 degrees Aries and Capricorn. 13 degrees Aries and Capricorn are critical degrees; this means the world situation will be in deeper crisis that year than it is this year. Also note that in April, 2014, when Uranus and Pluto are exactly square in critical degrees, there will be two eclipses. Crisis conditions will last through 2014 and 2015.

Today's eclipse is in exact sextile with the Vernal Equinox (the Sun at 00 Aries, March 20th). This is a very good aspect. It will open up opportunities for communication and greater cooperation in face of the difficulties the world is facing.

Sagittarius Solar Eclipse of 11/25 in mundane astrology

As shown by this eclipse, we are in challenging times that call for innovation and creative activity, and to courageously forge ahead in new directions.

The solar eclipse, at 2 degrees Sagittarius, came on 11/25 at 6:21 AM, GMT. The shadow of the eclipse falling over the far southern hemisphere from the region below Africa to Australia down to the edges of Antarctica, will cause the eclipse to register for most of the inhabited world more like a strong new moon; it gives a strong accent to the unfolding world events of the fall quarter.

Sagittarius, the sign in which we find the eclipse, resonates with all international affairs, international trade, shipping, long distance travel, airlines, and the like. It also corresponds to the Arab countries, Australia, Spain, Southern France, South America, and Hungary. In these areas the eclipse will register in various ways. A strong lunation marks the beginning of new activity, whether good or bad.

The eclipse is exactly in conjunction with Pakistan's natal Saturn in the 8th house of that country's natal chart. This brings out some long standing, serious matters in Pakistan's international financial and banking relations, and casts a dark cloud over the country's leadership, as Saturn rules the 10th house of that chart, the 10th house being the house of the head of state. There may be a notible death in the highest circle of the Government, and/or of a notible elder figure in the country.

The eclipse is exactly in conjunction with Romania's natal Mars in the 8th house of Romania's natal chart. Mars, in that chart, rules the Ascendent, the the house of the people and the country's outlook. Being in the 8th house, ruled by Scorpio in that chart, Mars points to a rise in suicides, and sudden deaths, by fire, accidents, and crime. Financial conditions in Romania are bad. The eclipse on that country's Mars is very unfortunate.

The aspects cast by this solar eclipse are as follows. The eclipse is trine Uranus at 0 degrees Aries. This galvanizes innovative developments that are sure to come up in the coming months. We should look for some scientific breakthroughs, and possibly very interesting UFO activity.

The eclipse also forms a T-square with Mars and Neptune, Mars being at 6 degrees in Virgo and Neptune at 28 degrees in Aquarius. This T-square points to unsettling possibilities. Neptune rules oil. Bahrain's natal Moon is at 3 degrees Gemini. United Arab Emirate's Saturn is at 2 degrees Gemini, Iran's natal moon is at 6 degrees Gemini, and Syria's natal Mars and Uranus are both at 5 degrees Gemini opposite the eclipse and square the eclipse chart position of Mars. The natal chart of Israel has Mars at 28 degrees Leo, exactly opposite the eclipse chart position of Neptune, Neptune being involved in the T-square with Mars and the solar eclipse. The situation in the middle east region continues to be very tense and is potentially explosive.

The eclipse, being in Sagittarius, is ruled by Jupiter. In the chart we find Jupiter in mutual reception with Venus. There is a spirit of conciliation in this. It is hopeful sign, and tells us that international forces in conflict can, and may agree to avoid the worst.

The eclipse came at the same time that Mercury turned retrograde. Mercury is at 20 degrees Sagittarius. The effects of Mercury retrograde at the eclipse will complicate matters. International agreements are not dependable, and will not hold. People will change their minds, change alignments, and back out of agreements, only to make other agreements later. This will work for and against progress. In the middle east situation, this is particularly troubling. Another effect of the Mercury retrograde is that international trade relations are shifty and questionable.

The eclipse chart interacts with the fall equinox chart of 9/23. We find that today's solar eclipse is exactly trine the fall equinox position of Mars. This strongly favors people in the world taking bold, positive steps now. At the fall equinox, Uranus was approaching opposition to the Sun. Now, at the solar eclipse, that opposition is exact. This means that the tensions in the world that we could see developing from the fall equinox are now critical. It points to the world crisis. Uranus favors innovation. The negative face of this opposition is tyranny. Innovation must happen in face of tyranny. The oppositions in the world are at crisis point.

The eclipse chart for the UK shows the eclipse in the 1st house. This shows a new development coming up amongst the people. Jupiter is in the 6th house. It focuses on labor. Venus is in the 2nd house, tying it to money. Mars and Neptune are in the 9th and 3rd houses, respectively. There is a lot of arguing, and concern over international trade, as well as trade with neighbors. British trade with Ireland is suggested.

The chart for Berlin has the eclipse, the north lunar node, Mercury, and Venus rising in the 1st house. The voice of the people is going to grow louder. Jupiter is in the 5th house. The voice of the people will influence diplomatic relations in the EU. Jupiter in the 5th house also promisses a good time coming for creative expression, especially through the arts in Germany. Mars and Neptune are in the 9th and 3rd houses, showing lots of arguing, and relations with neighboring countries coming under question. This is a very intense time for Europe that will bring out strong creative thinking. The affects of this eclipse will hold past the time when Neptune enters Pisces in February. The last time Neptune entered Pisces was 1848. That was a tremendously creative time for Europe, and it marked the 1848 revolutions in France and Germany.

We will see plenty of insane mud slinging, bald faced lying and embarrassing gibberish on tv and radio. A lot of misinformation will be spread on the internet. People will be whipped up to fear and rage. Jupiter in the 8th house and Venus in the 4th say help may be on the way for people in debt; they may be able to save their homes. On the other hand, however, that aspect between Jupiter and Venus also suggests that foreign money is coming to buy up more American land and property. Mars is in the 12th house, and Saturn is in the 2nd. It's "trouble behind, trouble ahead," as Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead used to sing.
