Spring Equinox, March 20, 2019

The equinox came on March 20th at 6:00 PM, EDT, at Washington DC.

The Sun was at 00:00 Aries in the 7th house. In the 7th house were also Mercury Rx at 18:59 Pisces, and Neptune at 16:41 Pisces. The Sun in the 7th house throws major emphasis on international affairs especially for 6 months; the ASC is 14:46 Virgo, to tell us that the effects of this equinox will last 6 months.

The equinox Sun is opposite Moon at 27:49 Virgo in the 1st house. This means that international affairs for the United States are reaching a culmination and a turning point.

Mercury, [ruler of the 10th house and 1st house, Rx in the 7th house, opposite the ASC], shows that the United States is very flexible, does not have a definite position, and will likely back down, and give in, from its prior position in matters of international trade, especially with China; meaning the trade war is not doing anyone any good, and calls for several new deals.
Venus [at 22:55 Aquarius in the 6th house] is square Mars [at 23:08 Taurus in the 9th house]. and Mars is sextile Mercury in Pisces, showing disputes in international trade.
Mercury, the equinox Sun, and the Moon are also square Jupiter [at 23:41 Sagittarius] in the 4th house. This forms a T-Square, it endangers matters of agriculture, and requires timely, executive actions.
Jupiter is quincunx Mars in the 9th house showing adjustments in trade that must be made. Jupiter is also sextile Venus in the 6th house which will improve the condition of farmers.

Neptune, the ruler of the 7th house, in the 7th house, conjunct retrograde Mercury is very unclear, and shows the condition of international negotiations. The situation appears to be extremely complex and will take time to iron out.

The Moon in the 1st house shows the people very active. The Moon is in grand trine with Saturn and Pluto in the 5th house, and with Mars in the 9th house. The people are concerned with practical matters. Every day business appears to be good.

Venus rules the 2nd house. Venus is in the 6th house, square Mars and sextile Jupiter. Employment looks good. People will be spending a lot. The general attitude is optimistic.

Saturn and Pluto in the 5th house with Saturn ruling the 5th house, Saturn and Pluto trine Mars shows matters connected to theater, and speculation very strong.

Uranus at 00:42 Taurus in the 8th house, suggests new developments coming that will revolutionize commerce.

Mars in the 9th house alerts us to the possibility of a catastrophe happening somewhere in the country, possibly in the southeast (Taurus = S-by-E) in the time period shown in this chart.
