An astrological view of autumn equinox

Autumn equinox came on September 23 at 9:22 AM, GMD. The charts give a vastly mixed picture. This is what appears.

The Sun at 00:00 Libra, in the same degree as the north lunar node 00:53 Libra, and Saturn at 00:23 Sagittarius, points to a potentially fateful, or fatal event coming this fall. Any planet, especially a malefic (in this case, Saturn) in the same degree as the lunar node, no matter from which sign, points to a fatality. Both the Sun and Saturn are approaching exact conjunction and sextile the node, respectively. This may point to a number of events all interconnected, but the effect appears fateful, or fatal.
In the US the Sun and north lunar node are in the 2nd house. The 2nd house has to do with the economic conditions of the country and an unstable stock market. Saturn is in the 4th house. The 4th house has to do with the land itself. Because Saturn is there, and, at the time of the equinox is also square to Mars, it could point to a mining disaster, severe weather events, or a big earthquake which, if it did happen, would affect the economy. We must also note that the shadow of the total lunar eclipse coming on September 28 and running across the Americas may confirm this. Other possible readings for Saturn in the 4th house include collapse of a building or failure of elements of the infrastructure, and a general slowing down of the real estate market for the fall quarter, and possibly more houses going into foreclosure.
In the UK and EU the Sun and north lunar node are in the 11th house, and Saturn is in the 2nd house. Saturn is square Mars in the 10th house. This points to upsets in the governments, connected to financial issues. Mars in the 10th house square Saturn, with Mars ruling the 7th house points to volent fighting in Europe. Mars afflicted in the 10th house also points to failures in governance and deaths in high circles. Leaders are in disgrace, and are losing the support of the people.
In the region of Moscow down through the Middle East the Sun and north lunar node are in the 10th house with Saturn  conjunct the Ascendant and in the 1st house. There are huge upsets in the government circles. It is probably pointing at Syria. Saturn in the 1st house square Mars in the 9th house points to religious conflicts. Terrorism will continue with disastrous consequences for many people. Many will be massacred.
In China the Sun and north node are in the 7th house with Saturn in the 9th house square Mars in the 7th. This brings challenges in international relations and trade.

A mitigating aspect is found with Venus. Venus in Leo is in mutual reception with the Sun. But, as it doesn't take the Sun out of the degree of the north node, the mitigation does not entirely save the day. What Venus in mutual reception with the Sun does is make the entire situation more flexible. What Venus does, since she is the Sun's dispositor, and because she forms trine aspect with Uranus, is soften the otherwise bad signs. In the end you can say it could have been much worse.

Venus is the dispositor of the Sun. Venus' aspects will therefore bear on the situation, and in this case, in a favorable way. Venus is forming a trine aspect with Uranus, bringing great luck and a stroke of genius.
In the US Venus is in the 12th house and Uranus is in the 8th. This points to spiritual forces working for the good of this land and people. Because the Sun is in the 2nd house it points to increasing prosperity. The stock market will behave erratically, but there will be gains, possibly windfalls. Also, the Moon is in the 5th house, forming a trine aspect with the Sun. This is very fortunate. Whatever upsets are coming in the US this fall will be mitigated by these aspects. Jupiter is in the 1st house of the chart for the US, showing an increase in business and trade, and increasing prosperity. But, Jupiter is in opposition with Neptune in the 7th house. This dampens the upswing to a degree, and warns of treachery, schemes, double dealing, and secret plots from rogue foreign sources, possibly involving hackers or cyber attacks.
In the UK and EU Venus is in the 10th house with Uranus in the 6th. It is possible that the turmoil and violent disturbances that will be developing will force the governments to pay better attention to improving services for their own people.
In the region of Moscow down through the Middle East Venus is in the 9th house with Uranus in the 5th. This points to diplomacy. This will help mitigate the violent situation so that it does not blow up altogether.
In China Venus is in the 7th with Uranus in the 2nd. The stock market may take some surprising turns, have some welcome surges. Venus in the 7th house points to foreign investors. The Chinese chart for the equinox has the north node, the Sun, Jupiter, Mars, and Venus all in the 7th house. This gives tremendous emphasis on Chinese foreign relations this fall.

Mercury at the equinox was retrograde. It was applying to square Pluto. This is not a good sign. It points to treachery in diplomatic and business dealings.
In the US Mercury is in the 2nd house with Pluto in the 5th. This shows crooked stock market manipulations. Venus is the dispositor of Mercury. Venus is trine Uranus. The insiders stand to gain huge windfalls.
In the UK and EU Mercury is in the 12th house with Pluto in the 3rd. This points to lying, media manipulation, and potential dangers of terrorist activities in the streets and in public transportation. Pluto, in Capricorn and intercepted in the 3rd house, points to the underground, possibly meaning subways and tunnels. Venus, the dispositor of Mercury, is in the 10th house trine Uranus in the 6th. The governments will do well to avoid strikes and insubordination in military and police services. Both Mars, ruler of the 7th house, and Venus, ruler of the 1st house, in the 10th house of the UK and EU charts point to troubles that the governments will face coming from their own people and from foreign elements. Mars square Saturn in the 2nd house shows serious economic pressures and wide spread poverty. Jupiter in the 11th house opposite Neptune in the 4th shows agitation against the government coming from people.
In the region from Russia down through the Middle East Mercury is in the 11th house with Pluto in the 2nd. Pluto rules the 12th house, and Mercury rules the 7th. It shows international criminal financial dealings for the sponsoring of terrorist groups. The fact that Mercury is retrograde makes it more underhanded. Pluto is at direct station, giving this fact tremendous emphasis.
In China Mercury is in the 10th house with Pluto in the 2nd. The Government is connected unfavorably with secret money and market manipulations.

Pluto was at direct station at the equinox. Because it is in Capricorn, it gives tremendous emphasis to matters of political and corporate organization. The direct station greatly accents the affects of Pluto through the fall season. While we have seen some of this already in the US with Boehner announcing that he is stepping down, and the ugly noise around Martin Shkreli, we find in the equinox chart of Australia Pluto in the 10th house square Mercury in the 7th. International treachery will cause extremely difficult problems for the government. Pluto in the 10th house square Mercury in the 7th, and square Uranus in the 1st house could bring strikes and violence. The people are becoming fed up.

An overview of the world's tensions in 2015 as seen in astrology

In light of the unfolding situation the following nine charts were drawn up to get a general sense of how it moves in time. The charts are:

4. Lunar eclipse, 4/4/15

The solstices, equinoxes, solar eclipses, and lunar eclipses are traditional markers for predicting world events. Without going into great detail, the following is what they show.

At the winter solstice, 12/21/14, Uranus was in a tight square with Pluto (Uranus 12:34 Aries, Pluto 12:08 Capricorn). This is a violent aspect dealing with issues of control and defiance. Also Saturn was at 29 degrees Scorpio telling of a weeping matter to come during the winter quarter. We've already seen some, and will see more.

The solar eclipse of 3/20 is at 29 degrees Pisces. 29 degrees of any sign foretells a weeping matter. The effects of a solar eclipse generally last one year. In this eclipse chart Mars and Uranus are both square Pluto. Mars is in conjunction with Uranus. The square of Uranus and Pluto is exact, as in the winter solstice chart. We also have Saturn coming to square Neptune which will add to general unrest and suffering, especially among the poor and destitute. It will also intensify the religious mania we see nowadays. It is important to point out that the solar eclipse occurs at the zenith in Europe. The spring quarter, not to mention the rest of the year, will be troubled there. A traditional reading of a solar eclipse at the end of Pisces is cruelty and inhumanity of soldiers. We can be certain that terrorist activities will continue and increase in intensity into and through the spring, and then through this entire year into the next.

The spring equinox, 3/20/15 has the same aspects as the solar eclipse except the Sun has moved to 00 degrees Aries.

The lunar eclipse of 4/4/15 has a T-Square of the Moon in Libra opposing Sun conjunct Uranus in Aries, and these square Pluto in Capricorn. Saturn is now square Neptune. The effects of a lunar eclipse generally last three months. It is reasonable to say that up to and beyond the lunar eclipse of April 4, the world tension will intensify greatly. A traditional reading of a lunar eclipse in the middle of Libra is generally pernicious: evil for everyone.

It appears that the spring is the most violent. Beyond the spring the tensions should begin to ease somewhat.

By the summer solstice of 6/21/15 Uranus has moved far enough away from the square to Pluto to have eased its tension. But, we see the Moon at 29 Leo exactly square Saturn at 29 Scorpio. It is a depressive aspect, but it does not suggest an economic slump, because we find Jupiter at 19 degrees Leo tightly trine to Uranus at 20 degrees Aries, Aries being the mid-heaven of the NY Stock Exchange chart. The market will in general be going up in the summer. The Jupiter trine Mars will cause a surge in the market.

Saturn is again at 29 degrees Scorpio in the solar eclipse chart of 9/13/15 (Saturn is at 29 Scorpio in the winter solstice chart of 12 21/14, the summer solstice chart of 6/21/15, and in this solar eclipse chart of 9/13/15). Uranus and Pluto are still weakly square. The solar eclipse is at 20 degrees Virgo. A traditional reading for a solar eclipse in the 3rd decanate of Virgo leads us to believe that, depending on conditions, people will be punished for freedom of expression. By the time of the solar eclipse, Jupiter will have moved into Virgo, the sign of his detriment. We find Jupiter at the solar eclipse in tight opposition with Neptune generating no small degree of confusion. Considering the reading of the eclipse in the 3rd decanate of Virgo, insane things will be said, and there will be a lot of misunderstandings.

The fall equinox of 9/23/15 has Saturn in Sagittarius. Even though Saturn first entered Sagittarius on 12/24/14, he backs out and goes into Scorpio again. Fall equinox 2015 really marks the first major time in the Saturn transit that puts him firmly inside Sagittarius. Saturn in Sagittarius is applying to square Neptune. At the fall equinox the square is not strong enough, but it is pointing to an increase in unrest among the poor as well as of infectious diseases that may be spread through travel. Jupiter, at the fall equinox is opposite Neptune. This is not lucky for the stock market, as Neptune and Jupiter both rule the MC of the NYSE. The market will act erratically. Jupiter afflicted in Virgo is also a bad sign for food and medicine. Opposite Neptune it warns of contamination. Crops could be blighted, and there could be die offs in the ocean due to contamination.

The lunar eclipse of 9/28 is at 4 degrees Aries. The hard aspects of Uranus and Pluto, and of Saturn and Neptune are still fairly weak, so the tensions are not as pronounced as in the spring. A traditional reading of a lunar eclipse in the beginning of Aries is fires and fevers, however.

But the winter solstice of 12/22/15, Saturn has moved to exact square Neptune, and Uranus has come to a tight square with Pluto again. It is a troubled time. Nonetheless, the Uranus square to Pluto will not reach exact again, but will dissipate through 2016, a year in which we will see general tensions easing along with a gradual easing of general financial conditions.

Fall equinox in astrology

The fall equinox this year came on September 23, at 3:30 AM GMD to tell us what we might anticipate in the world this fall. The Moon at the equinox was at 17:12 degrees Virgo, 12:48 from conjunction, presaging endings, or closings. The Moon so close to the Sun is weak. The Moon is also conjunct Venus. Venus stands between the Moon and the Sun. This makes endings fortunate for some, unfortunate for others. Venus is in her fall in Virgo, meaning, she is also weak. Venus is at 21 degrees Virgo, i.e., in the 3rd decanate of Virgo; it shows her giving in. The 3rd decanate of Virgo has the key word, Renunciation. In a nutshell, we are at a threshold and are having to let go of what we may have been holding dear in order to move forward. The Moon is in her 14th Mansion, and 26th House. The 14th Mansion, called Achmech, increases caution; the 26th house warns of potential losses of money. Venus is in mutual reception with Mercury, showing that there are always ways around things. It points to finagling in the financial world.

Jupiter is at 14:31 Leo, trine Uranus 15: 06 Aries. Uranus is in the 10th house of the NY Stock Exchange chart. The trine of Uranus and Jupiter should register, especially in the lunar month of September 24 to October 23, as a general rise in the stock market. On October 8 there is a lunar eclipse at 6:56 AM EDT at 15:05 Aries exactly conjunct the fall equinox Uranus trine Jupiter. The eclipse Moon is above the horizon at the eclipse; its effects will be felt over a three month span more or less. The market may rise even more, but could also become erratic.

The equinox chart also has Mars square Neptune. This is a violent aspect. In the charts for the UK and EU we see Mars in the 4th house square Neptune in the 7th house. This shows troubles in the Government. Also treachery, plots and schemes coming from foreign elements, and fires in public places and buildings. There are likelihoods of riots and terrorist activities in the UK and Europe. Be on the lookout for possible explosions. Mars afflicted in the 4th house by Neptune also points to seismic and volcanic activity.

The equinox chart for Hong Kong has Mars in the 1st house square Neptune in the 4th house. The people are discontent and agitated. Protests could become riots. Neptune shows treacherous elements involved, aiming to intensify the trouble. How far it goes is a question. The equinox Sun, Venus, and Moon are in the 10th house. The 10th house ruler is Mercury, and Mercury is in mutual reception Venus. The Government will calm it down.    

The Moon, Venus, and equinox Sun in the charts for the UK and EU are in the 2nd house, pointing to financial concerns being foremost through the fall. There are losses to be dealt with.

The equinox chart for Jerusalem shows violence in neighboring lands: Mars is in the 3rd house. Saturn is also in the 3rd house conjunct the evil star Serpentis. Malignant forces are nearby. The Moon, Venus, and equinox Sun are in the 1st house, with Moon sextile Saturn, and Sun sextile Mars. The outlook is essentially positive and resolute. Sacrifices will be made where and when necessary.

The equinox chart for Washington DC has the Moon in the 4th house, and Venus, the Sun, and Mercury in the 5th house. The Sun and Mercury are in interception. It shows secret activity going on in diplomatic circles. Neptune is in the 10th house square Mars in the 6th house. There is a sharp disagreement between the President and the military. Neptune afflicted in the 10th house also points to scandals in high Government circles. The popularity of the President is falling. Neptune in this chart is mutual reception Uranus, with Uranus in the 11th house, both Neptune and Uranus are retrograde. It shows secret deals between the President and members of Congress. Jupiter is in the 3rd house square Saturn in the 6th house. There is considerable tension between the Democrats and Republicans. With Jupiter rising in the 3rd house trine Uranus in the 11th house, the Republicans appear to have an advantage.

Fall equinox in astrology

Fall equinox arrived on September 22 at 9:45 PM GMD. It marks the mid-point of the astrological year.

The most outstanding aspect in the chart for the equinox is Saturn applying to exact conjunction with the north lunar node, Saturn at 9 degrees 9 minutes Scorpio and the north lunar node at 9 degrees 34 minutes Scorpio. This conjunction marks fatal events coming to the world. Searching the charts for the different places where this aspect is in an angle (the 1st, 4th, 7th, or 10 house), it shows up in the 4th house in Pakistan. A huge earthquake happened there almost immediately after the equinox. Affecting the entire fall season, we may expect other violent events to happen because of this aspect. Areas in the world that resonate to Scorpio, the sign in which we find Saturn and the north lunar node, include Syria, Brazil, Norway, Catalonia, the Congo, Kenya, Turkey, Crete, Egypt, Greece, Iraq, western Alaska, the Hawaiian Islands, California, and such cities as Jerusalem, Baghdad, Washington D.C, Boston, New Orleans, Baltimore, Los Angeles, and so on.

In the chart made for the US, we find the conjunction of Saturn and the north lunar node in the 9th house. The 9th house points, in addition to the areas in the US listed above, to the Appalachian region, including southwestern New York state; most of western Pennsylvania; West Virginia; the southern half of Ohio; Kentucky; the eastern side of Tennessee; the northwest part of Georgia; and the northeast part of Alabama, including the city of Birmingham. Scorpio has correspondence to chemicals and ground water, as well as to atomic power. There is a lot of fracking in the Appalachian region. The Saturn conjunction with the north lunar node may also point to earthquakes. The Appalachian region and the far west are possible.

In addition to the Saturn conjunction with the north lunar node the chart has a T-square of the Moon in Taurus opposite Venus in Scorpio, and Venus and the Moon square Mars in Leo. In the chart for the US Mars is in the 7th house pointing to international disputes, bad foreign relations, and danger of war. Saturn in conjunction with the north lunar node in the 9th house points to serious difficulties in international trade relations.

We also find in this chart the Sun in Libra in a T-Square with Pluto in Capricorn and Uranus in Aries. In the chart for the US this T-square occurs with the Sun in the 8th house, Pluto in the 11th house, and Uranus in the 2nd house. It affects great difficulties in financial affairs and brings confusions to the activities of Congress influenced by underworld, or shady figures.

The charts made for the EU and the UK show the Saturn conjunction with the north lunar node in the 6th house, with Venus in the 6th house opposite the Moon in the 12th and Mars in the 4th, adversely affecting public services and arousing resentment amongst the people. The Sun is in the 5th house opposite Uranus in the 11th, and square Pluto in the 8th causing difficulties in diplomatic relations, especially over finances, while Jupiter in the 2nd house shows the bankers getting richer.

The Equinox

The equinox occured on September 22 at 14:50 GMT. Its chart shows developing tensions in the world through the fall quarter.

The outstanding aspects are as follows:
The Sun is quincunx Neptune, and is applying to opposition Uranus and square Pluto, Pluto and Uranus being exactly square one another.
The Moon, with Mars behind her, is applying to sextile Saturn, then dexter square Sun, conjunct Pluto and square Uranus. Moon dexter square Sun denotes forced breakthrough.
Venus is applying to square Mars, with Mars conjunct the most malefic star in the heavens, Serpentis.
The North Lunar Node is 28 degrees Scorpio 54 minutes, and Saturn is 28 degrees Libra 29 minutes. Saturn and the North Lunar Node are applying to exactly the same degree and minute denoting a fatality. There may be one or more false flag events.
Moon is in her 19th Mansion, Azarala, a turbulent place in the heavens. Its mood is adventurous and unsettled.
The most interesting planetary position is Mars at 19 degrees Scorpio conjunct Serpentis. It causes violence, quarrels, lying, crime, and violent deaths possibly by poisoning. Political intreague is rife with violence.

The Sun and Moon applying to hard aspect with one another and with Pluto and Uranus are showing developing conditions of extreme discord and tension in the world.
Venus square Mars conjunct Serpentis is extremely treacherous. Mars is in the most malefic degree in the zodiac, 19 Scorpio.

The chart of Britain has Mars afflicted in the 10th house. Mars rules the 3rd house, Venus, who squares Mars is in the 7th house and rules the 9th house. There will be violent arguing and much trouble in the Government, and loud protests on the streets. Mars afflicted in the 10th house also denotes the possibilty of war.
In this chart, the Moon is in the 12th house, and the Sun is in the 8th house; Pluto is in the 12th house, and Uranus is in the 2nd house. Much turbulence is related to the economic conditions, especially as relates to the public welfare, hospitals, and medicine. The people are upset, and crime is on the rise. Mars behind the Moon shows changes accompanied by fighting.

The chart of the EU, from Bruxelles has Mars in the 9th house right behind the Mid Heaven, denoting international quarreling that affects the Governance of the EU. According to charts made for Greece, it is very possible that Greece will default later this Fall; December looks likely. The Moon in the EU equinox chart is in the 11th house, Pluto in the 12th house and Uranus in the 2nd. The EU Parliament is running into a jam over economic issues involving losses of money. Great turmoil will continue to grow in western Europe.

The chart of the US from DC has Mars in the 1st house conjunct the Ascendent, Venus is in the 9th house. This makes what is called a zodiac square and mundane trine. It means that discordant conditions can work to our favor. It also means that trouble involves us with matters abroad. Mars conjunct Serpentis is a sign of violence, quarreling, and increasing crime in the country. In the political arena it shows an increase in outrageous lying. This is the most evil position for Mars. Beware of epidemics; Mars rules the 6th house-of-health. Mars is in Scorpio. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto. Uranus is exalted in Scorpio. Pluto and Uranus are exactly square in this chart. Sickness is developing. Venus in the 9th house square Mars denotes infections from abroad. Mars in Scorpio points to contaminated liquids, rains included, also vermin, and sexually transmitted diseases. Mars in the 1st house afflicted brings out discontentment among the people, riots, fires, crime and ill-health. The North Lunar Node is in the 1st house and Saturn is in the 12th house to confirm predicted danger of violence. Saturn in the 12th house acts stealthily from behind the scenes. Saturn rules the 3rd house, and links this to the streets and to transportation.
The Lunation chart just prior to the November election shows the Democrats strongly favored.

The transit of Pluto to 10 degrees Capricorn toward the end of 2012 and into 2013 will strongly affect the Euro-Zone and the UK, compounding already complicated matters, and bringing the EU closer to being reorganized. The chart of the EU (Nov. 1, 1993) is severely afflicted, and fortells the crisis it is in, and the probability of coming breakings up.

Chinese astrological-I Ching view of the equinox

The year, month, day and hour of this fall equinox reduced to a hexagram gives us hexagram 45, Gathering. While the day and month are in a relationship of conflict, suggesting an atmosphere of general discord, this is a fortunate hexagram for fall. The hexagram has the image of a carp. When the carp jumps over the dragon gate it meets with success. This is a good time for making improvements, for perseverance, to make great efforts, and to see influential people. You must achieve self-renewal by inner efforts.

The hexagram is ruled by yin Metal. Yin Metal is the power of reflection. It means charm and illusion. It is artful. This is a time for socializing, parties, and polite interaction. Yin Metal is wine and perfume. It is also the cutting edge of fashion. Look and act your best to tune in and make progress. Trust your feelings but don't over estimate your luck. If it comes to contracts make sure you read the small print. This is a romantic period, but it could also come to naught when the glamor wears off. Reflect.

The total count of elements in the Hexagram with the day and month is 5 Metals, 2 Waters, 3 Woods, 6 Fires, and 7 Earths. Earth is strongest. The hexagram needs to build Water. Strong Earth shows lots of building up of resources. But, if the resources are not used correctly the energy will become stiffled and  give cause for grief. Building Water means building up your business. Focus on, and put your energy into your creative interests. Find avenues for expressing yourself in productive ways. Wood element is good. That means that money is circulating. The 6 Fires against the yin Metal advise bravely, but politely taking a stand in face of challenges. Diplomacy is essential.

The 'Self' line of the Hexagram is Snake. The day is Dog, and the month is Rooster. Self must produce. This may be exhausting. Neither the hexagram nor the trigram in which this Snake is found support Snake. Snake is facing Dog and Rooster. This means that without nourishment Snake must build in order to gain. Don't ask for too much; go forward with what resources you already have. Snake is lucky, nonetheless. It has a good relationship with Rooster. Good fortune comes in the long run if you play your cards right. Be far-sighted, not short sighted.

The advice is to have a goal, to specialize, to be receptive to spiritual impulses and let yourself be drawn into what you instnctively know you should be doing. Don't second guess yourself. Inner work for self-improvement will help you achieve a better foundation if you need it. You must rely on and trust your own resources while allowing yourself to be drawn into what feels most appropriate. Face whatever challenges you meet courageously.

In feng shui the hexagram points to the North area of your home, room, or office. Put something green in the North to encourage harmony and encourage the development of money.

Mundane Astrological view of the Fall Ingress, 9/23/11

Fall equinox came on September 23 at 9:06 AM GMT. The outstanding aspects cast by the Sun are his opposition to Uranus in Aries, square to Pluto in Capricorn, sextile to Moon and sextile to Mars, Moon and Mars in conjunction in Leo. Moon and Mars lend great strength and cause for some optimism to the Sun, making the Fall a constructive time despite the many untoward conditions of this time shown by the Sun in T-square with Uranus and Pluto. There is a great deal of tension in the world of politics and finances now.

We notice that in the spring equinox chart Saturn was at 14 degrees Libra and Moon was at 17 degrees Libra. Now, at the fall equinox we find Saturn at 17 degrees Libra; the conjunction of Saturn and Moon at the spring equinox is now exact. What this means is that the unfortunate trends of economic difficulties, bad trade relations, tendencies to disorder and depression in the world, political affairs going awry, the people suffering because of unemployment, crop failures, trouble with banks and stock markets, troubled affairs in parliaments and in congress, embarrassments to Governments with possibilities of deaths in Government circles is now coming to a head.

Looking at the chart of the New York Stock Exchange we see Uranus in the 10th house in Aries opposite the Sun in Libra and square Pluto in Capricorn. This shows the market in a precarious and unstable condition this fall. This is confirmed by the New Moon chart, the New Moon coming on September 27th at 11:10 AM GMT. The New Moon is at 4 degrees Libra opposite Uranus and square Pluto. This means that the lunation period of September 27th to October 26th is going to see very unstable market activity with sudden losses accompanied by some sharp gains as shown by Mars in Leo tightly trine Uranus and sextile the new Moon.

In the fall equinox chart the Sun opposite Uranus and square Pluto shows sudden and unexpected troubles coming to heads of state, ill considered legislation, political blunders bringing losses of friends and gain of enemies, party splits, strikes, protests and riots, and failures of Governments. Where there are elections great changes are to be expected. Watch the situation in Spain.

The fall equinox Sun sextile the Moon helps mitigate some of the more dire indications of the Sun opposition Uranus and square Pluto. The Sun sextile Moon will help bridge some of the tensions between the Government and the people and will encourage productive business activity at home and abroad despite all the trouble otherwise shown.

The fall equinox Sun sextile Mars gives strength to heads of state as well as to the military. This, accompanied with the Sun in T-square Uranus and Pluto means that military activity is going to increase this fall; a lot of destructive activity is to be anticipated. The positive side of the Sun sextile Mars, barring the glaring opposition of the military powers against the developing world, especially seen in the current plight of Africa, is that it gives the world the opportunity to cooperate and constructively improve international relations. Whether the world uses the positive possibilities offered by the heavens now is to be seen.

The fall equinox chart for the UK has the Sun in the 11th house opposite Uranus in the 5th and square Pluto in the 2nd. This shows the Parliament at odds over troubles affecting the condition of the economy, difficult diplomatic relations, and problems in education. The Sun opposite Uranus also shows increasing opposition to the Prime Minister. The Moon and Mars sextile the Sun from the 9th house shows Britain's involvement in foreign wars contributing to the discontentment of the opposition to the current Government. These problems will not resolve easily or quickly. Looking at the transits of Pluto, the turmoil in Britain and in the Euro Zone as well as in Australia will increase through the rest of this year, through 2012 and into 2013.

The fall equinox chart for Germany has the Sun in the 10th house opposite Uranus in the 5th and square Pluto in the 2nd. Opposition to the Government in Germany is more intense than in Britain. We note in this chart that Jupiter is the ruler of the 2nd house and is in the 6th house. Jupiter is square the Moon and Mars. Moon and Mars are sextile the Sun. This shows that the Government's actions toward the ailing countries in the Euro Zone is depleting the wealth of Germany and causing no small degree of distress, and this may cause big protests that will endanger the Government of Frau Merkel. Jupiter retrograde in the 6th house square Moon and Mars, with Pluto in the 2nd house in T-square with the Sun and Uranus is not at all benefiting the working classes. It is showing a big waste of money. It is also entirely against the better interests of Germany to engage in military activities now.

The Sun in the fall equinox chart is in the 10th house all through Central Europe, down through Central and South Africa, and eastward into the Middle East. The Sun is in the 10th house in Jerusalem. Simply put, Governments, and heads of state, in this region of the world are now subject to sudden and unexpected troubles. Political relations in this region are particularly fragile and unstable. Governments are prone to failures, or emergencies, and, if there are elections, to radical changes, and there are probabilities of strikes, protest movements and riots.

The fall equinox chart for Tehran, Iran has the Sun in the 9th house opposite Uranus in the 3rd and square Pluto in the 12th conjunct the Ascendent showing disputes and troubles coming from neigboring lands and from secret criminal elements, or clandestine enemies attempting to undermine the country. Mars and Moon in the 7th house square Jupiter in the 4th intensifies the probabilities of international disputes and warns of dangers of warlike activity. Mars in Leo points east by north, or the areas of Afghanistan and possibly Turkmanistan.

The chart for Pakistan is similar to that of Iran except Pluto is not conjunct the Ascendent, but is in the 12th house showing criminal activity coming into the country from neighboring lands. There are dangers of warlike activities, the northeast part of the country and the area near Kashmir appearing most vulnerable.

The chart for India has the Sun in the 8th house opposite Uranus in the 2nd and square Pluto in the 12th. Sun afflicted in the 8th house raises the death rate and brings death to notable people in the highest circles of the land. Uranus afflicted in the 2nd house brings unexpected losses, but trine Mars, brings unexpected gains as well. The stock market in India will be highly volatile this fall. Pluto afflicted in the 12th house brings misfortune to the poor and increases underground criminal activity as well as clandestine activity of enemies of the state. Mars and Moon in the 7th house square Jupiter in the 4th house also brings dangers of violence and potential military activity to India, the fall equinox chart showing unrest in the entire region of Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India as well as in Nepal and Tibet.

The chart for China has the Sun in the 7th house opposite Uranus in the 1st and square Pluto in the 10th. Jupiter is in the 2nd house. The Sun afflicted in the 7th house shows tense relations with foreign powers. Uranus afflicted in the 1st house shows turbulence among the people. There could be strikes, rioting and violent uprisings against the authorities. Pluto afflicted in the 10th house brings probabilities of Government crack downs on the one hand and purges in the Government of certain officials on the other. China is not in a good mood. Jupiter in the 2nd house, nonetheless, shows China's wealth increasing. Jupiter square Mars and Moon in the 6th house shows hard work. It also shows a possible epidemic, harsh conditions for workers, fires, explosions or accidents in work places and possible accidents on warships as well as internal conflicts in the military. Mercury, Sun, Venus and Saturn in the 7th house of the chart shows a strong focus on Chinese foreign relations this fall. In spite of all, however, China is prospering.

The chart for Japan has the Sun in the 6th house opposite Uranus in the 12th and square Pluto in the 9th. The national health of Japan is adversely affected. Jupiter in the 1st house gives the Japanese people a hopeful outlook, but square Mars and Moon in the 5th house with Mars ruling the 8th, this outlook is marred by a rise in deaths of children and women.

The equinox chart for Australia also has the Sun in the 6th house opposite Uranus in the 12th and square Pluto in the 9th. Jupiter is in the 1st house square Mars and Moon in the 4th house, and Saturn in in the 7th house precisely opposite the Ascendent. Unfavorable developments in the areas of labor and health come to attention. Saturn in the 7th house opposite the Ascendent is unfavorable for foreign affairs. Foreign trade is adversely affected. Saturn in Libra points to probable difficulties in trade relations with China. Mars and Moon in the 4th house square Jupiter in the 1st brings trouble to the Government due to the international trade and financial mess. It also points to potential fires or accidents in public buildings, mining accidents and earthquakes to the northeast of Australia in the area of ring of fire. Mars also adversely affects agriculture and the real estate market. The square of Mars and Jupiter shows losses of money affecting the people. There could be fires on the land this spring.

The equinox chart for Brazil has the Sun exactly conjunct the Ascendent opposite Uranus in the 7th house and square Pluto in the 4th house. Brazil is at a critical point in her relations with foreign powers eager to take control of her vast wealth. Pluto, the ruler of the 2nd house is in the 4th house; this points to matters connected to the land and natural resources. Mars and Moon in the 11th house are square to Jupiter in the 8th. The Moon rules the 10th and 11th houses and Mars rules the 7th. This appears to say that the Government, ruled by the Moon, is in danger of making international financial deals to its ultimate disadvantage.

The fall equinox chart for the USA has the Sun in the 1st house opposite Uranus in the 8th and square Pluto in the 4th showing the outlook marred by concerns over the debt, losses caused by natural and man-made disasters, and losses of natural resources, the drought in Texas being an example. Uranus afflicted in the 8th also denotes sudden and unexpected deaths caused by accidents, possible explosions, and suicides. Moon and Mars in the 11th house square Jupiter in the 9th house shows the Congress bickering over legal matters. Venus and Saturn in the 2nd house show how money coming is being limited by inroads caused by conditions of financial stagnation. Saturn is exactly semi-square Mars and Moon in the 11th house. There are clear dangers of losses and periods of sluggishness in the market.
