The lunar eclipse of 8/7/17 in astrology

The lunar eclipse occurs at 7:22 PM GMD. It is visible in India, as you can see. It appears to reach exactitude in northeast India, where there is a dispute going on with China about Doklam. This does not bode well for India. It will cause considerable stress there. On average, the effects of an eclipse last a period of 3 months.

There are these three aspects happening in addition to the eclipse. Sun is conjunct Mars; Mercury is opposite Neptune, (mitigated by sextile Venus); Jupiter is square Pluto, (mitigated by sextile the Sun, trine the eclipse, and sextile Saturn).
With this eclipse, there is considerable stress, especially between Jupiter - Pluto, and Mercury-Neptune, and Sun-Mars. In short, it shows aggression, duplicity, and lying.

In India, the eclipse Moon (in Aquarius) is in the 10th house opposite the Sun and Mars (in Leo) in the 4th house. This is seriously bad for the Government, and the national honor (the 10th house), and it is over land (the 4th house). Neptune in the 11th house opposite Mercury in the 5th shows treacherous diplomacy. However, it won't go too far because Venus, in mitigating aspect with Neptune and Mercury, brings peace in the near future. Venus is in the 2nd house showing what's coming up the near future. India will have to withdraw from Doklam. It is doubtful that India will be sincere about this, however: Venus, ruling the Ascendant in India, is in Cancer and the same sign as the 3rd house cusp (Cancer), showing a reticent outlook and dissatisfaction over the matter.

Meanwhile, an old prognostication of a lunar eclipse in the 2nd decanate of Aquarius is that it universally damages the seeds of the earth. This warns of coming food shortages.

In UK and the EU The eclipse moon is intercepted in the 1st house opposite the Sun and Mars intercepted in the 7th. The eclipsed moon in the 1st house shows unrest and discontent. The interception shows much going on behind closed doors.
Pluto is conjunct the Ascendent square Jupiter in the 8th house. The eclipse is also trine Jupiter. This gives and invitation to deal with the matter of finances. Jupiter square the Ascendant forces it; it must be dealt with; it must be settled. Mercury and Neptune feed into this as well. They are in the 7th and 1st house respectively. Mercury in the same sign as the 8th (Virgo) and Neptune in the same sign as the 2nd (Pisces) show the matter of the money is unsatisfactory and fraught with chicanery.
In this chart there are 7 Planets in signs that are on the next following house: (Pluto in the 12th in the same sign as the Ascendant; Neptune in the 1st in the same sign as the 2nd; Uranus in the 2nd in the same sign as the 3rd; Venus in the 6th in the same sign as the 7th; Mercury in the 7th in the same sign as the 8th; Jupiter in the 8th in the same sign as the 9th; and Saturn in the 11th in the same sign as the 12th), giving them all 12th house relationships, and making the affairs of the chart generally unsatisfactory. No one is happy.
Mars is in the 7th house intercepted. This will bring international disputes, disagreements, and unsatisfactory relations. Mars points to the east, eastern Europe.  
In all likelihood, nothing will be settled.

In the US the Sun, opposite the eclipse moon, is conjunct the Sun of Robert Mueller's birth chart. The coming three months for him will be especially challenging.
The eclipse Moon is in the 3rd house intercepted, and the Sun and Mars are in the 9th intercepted. It may be that much will be going on secretively behind locked doors. Meanwhile, Mercury in the 10th house is opposite Neptune in the 4th, so the people will be entertained and distracted by scandals. The public outlook, as shown by Saturn retrograde in the 1st house conjunct the 2nd house cusp, is seriously worried about the future financial outlook. The ruler of the Ascendent is Pluto. Pluto, in the 2nd house and retrograde, confirms what Saturn is saying.

Vernal equinox in astrology

The vernal equinox came on March 20 at 11:03 AM GMT. The vernal equinox marks the astrological new year. The chart has two main planetary configurations: a grand trine and a T-Square.

The grand trine is in water. It is between Moon in Cancer, Neptune and Mercury in Pisces, and Saturn in Scorpio. Mercury and Neptune are in conjunction. This brings to the world a broad and deeply expansive emotional and imaginative energy thorugh the spring. The trine of Saturn to Neptune and Mercury is generally favorable for those in employment of the state and suggests general political reforms and changes to the advantage of the people, especially the poor. Mercury in conjunction with Neptune modifies the more sanguine indications of this grand trine, as it hints of scandals, secret crimes, frauds, and dishonesty and trickery in Government deals. Subversive elements are in the works. This is confirmed by Mercury square and in mutual reception with Jupiter in Gemini. The square of Mercury and Jupiter tell of secret crimes, frauds and swindles, as well as unsavory news and scandals involving religious figures. The Moon trine Saturn increases the power of the people. The Moon in good aspect with Mercury favors literary persuits and publishing. as well as scientific progress. It also brings much flapdoodle, i.e. political speech making, and favors trade agreements. The Moon trine Neptune favors all forms of charity and democratic, socialistic developments. The people are a major force this year. They will come to clash with the powers that be.

The Moon at 7 degrees Cancer is in her 8th mansion and 10th lunar house. The 8th mansion, called Amathura, favors the people. It also favors traveling, or movement toward the goal. The 10th lunar house also favors traveling. It also brings dangers of illness. It demands perseverance and flexibility; success does not come easily.

The second major configuration of planets, the T-square involves Venus (at 27 degrees Pisces), the Sun (at 00 degrees Aries), Mars (at 6 degrees Aries), and Uranus (at 8 degrees Aries) square the Moon and Pluto, the Moon being opposite Pluto. The Sun, Mars and Uranus all in conjunction are bringing up violent force. Square to Pluto and the Moon this will become explosive. So, we see the expansiveness of the above mentioned grand trine combining with the extreme dynamism of the T-square to bring turmoil to the entire world this year. The energy will be tremendous. There will be large events in the earth and in the weather, and the people in large number will be engaging in loud protests, especially in Europe, but in other places as well. The Moon opposite Pluto compounds complications in all spheres of activity involving the people, and it brings out criminal elements; popular movements will be infiltrated by underground crime and secret military forces. Moon and Pluto square Mars and Uranus confirm this. Violence is coming. Sun, Mars and Uranus are in Aries. Countries ruled by Aries, (and influenced by Aries), are prone to violence. These include UK, Germany, Israel, Palestine, Denmark, (France), Iceland, (Japan), (New Zealand), Poland, (Spain), Syria. Places ruled by Cancer and Capricorn will also be places of turmoil and violence. The Moon in Cancer points to the Netherlands, and New York City. Pluto in Capricorn points to India, Punjab, Afghanistan, Bulgaria, Greece, Mexico, the states of Saxony, Hesse, Styria, and to the all-important city of Bruxelles. Bruxelles is the king pin of the EU. The EU is in hot water this year.

The vernal equinox in the UK has Venus, Sun, Mars and Uranus in the 10th house square Moon rising in the 12th and Pluto conjunct the 7th house cusp. This puts tremendous pressure on the current Government. The Sun afflicted by conjunction Mars and Uranus, square Moon, and square Pluto points to illness and death among royalty, serious troubles in the Government and loss of national honor. Mars conjunct Uranus and square Moon and Pluto points to much violence if not involvement in war, and shows death in royal circles. Afflicted Uranus in the 10th house points to sudden developments with much trouble in Government circles which may result in defeat and resignation. It also points to attacks against members of the royalty and of the ruling party. The conservative Government may be defeated this year. The Moon in the 12th house opposite Pluto points to increasing poverty, much illness among the people, scandals involving hospitals and charities, increasing crime against women and children, and a general rise in crime and violence through the nation.

The vernal equinox in Bruxelles chart is almost exactly the same as in the UK. The conditions shown in the UK will be similar in Bruxelles, therefore in all of the EU. We can expect turmoil in Government circles with leaders being defeated, while violence and crime, poverty and illness are on the rise everywhere in the Euro zone.

The vernal equinox in Germany chart is also the same s in the UK. The indications lead us to anticipate the coming defeat of Mme. Merkel's Government. The Sun, Mars and Uranus are in interception in the 10th house in this chart. That says that there is coming conflict and interference in the Government process. While this is happening, however, Germany's foreign trade relations, especially overseas appears to be growing.

The vernal equinox in Russia chart has the Sun, Mars and Uranus in the 9th house square the Moon in the 11th, and Pluto in the 7th house. This points to potentially productive tensions in foreign trade relations, possibly involving oil and gas. Moon in Cancer trine Mercury and Neptune in Pisces, trine Saturn in Scorpio shows the increasing development of oil and gas reserves. Mars rules the 10th house. In the 9th, Mars shows the Putin Administration appearing to aggressively take advantage of foreign trade opportunities amidst troubled conditions abroad. Mars and Uranus afflicted in the 9th house also point to violence as well as possibilities of large fires in one or another of the provinces.

The vernal equinox in Israel, as shown by the chart made for Jerusalem, very similar to the chart made for Moscow, has the Sun, Mars and Uranus in the 9th house square Moon in the 12th house and Pluto in the 6th. It shows the Government aggressively persuing foreign trade. There will be continued violence in the Palestinian territories, and there will be an increase in poverty in Israel as well as in the territories with increase of disease and crime. No foreign war is showing in this chart.

The vernal equinox in India chart has Jupiter at the zenith. This is very fortunate for the Government. But Jupiter square and mutual reception to Mercury tell that there is much finagling going on involving the opposition party and foreign relations that complicate and confuse Government affairs. The Sun, Mars and Uranus straddle the 8th house cusp with Moon in the 11th house and Pluto in the 5th telling that there is much bickering in the Parliament involving diplomatic relations connected to financial concerns. Mars and Uranus afflicted in the 8th house show many suicides, and many sudden and violent deaths by accidents and crimes.

The vernal equinox in Pakistan chart is similar to that of India. Jupiter in the 10th house protects the Government, but square Mercury, the Government is entangled in many complex affairs involving much trickery. Sun, Mars and Uranus in the 8th house warns of dangers of violence and sudden deaths, possibly in the east and southwest of the country.

The vernal equinox in China chart has Venus, Sun, Mars and Uranus in the 6th house with Moon conjunct the mid-heaven and Pluto conjunct the nadir. Mars and Uranus afflicted in the 6th house point to much infectious and inflammatory disease coming. It also points to fires, explosions, and serious accidents with losses of life in military installations and places of labor that will be of great concern to the Government. Pluto conjunct the nadir square Mars and Uranus, and opposite the Moon warns of the housing bubble imploding. Saturn in the 2nd house retrograde points to poor revenue and danger of financial stagnation. But Saturn trine the Moon, Mercury and Neptune will mitigate the danger to some degree.

The vernal equinox in Australia chart has Sun, Mars and Uranus in the 5th house with Moon in the 8th and Pluto in the 2nd. This brings much crime against women and children, danger of violence in places of amusement including theaters and sports arenas. It also brings danger of violence, accidents and fires to schools and to parties. There will be notible deaths among entertainers. Sun, Mars and Uranus afflicted in the 5th house also brings diplomatic troubles. Moon in the 8th house and Pluto in the 2nd show this in connection to financial interests. Mercury in the 4th house square Jupiter in the 7th shows finagling in land deals with foreigners. Who is buying up Australia?

The vernal equinox in New Zealand chart has Venus, Sun, Mars and Uranus in the 4th house square Pluto in the 1st and Moon in the 7th. There will be violent earth activity there. It is almost certain that there will be a large earthquake. The 4th house cusp is in Pisces. There may be a tsunami as well. At the same time, Sun, Mars and Uranus are in Aries, a fire sign denoting fire. There may also be a volcanic eruption. This, of course, is also possible in all of the islands in the region.

The vernal equinox in the USA chart has Venus, Sun, Mars and Uranus in the 1st house with Pluto in the 10th and Moon in the 4th. This points to the people becoming very angry with the Government. There is serious danger of violence in the country. Pluto in the 10th opposite Moon in the 4th shows the incumbent and the opposition at odds with one another over things that have nothing to do with the people and at the same time passing legislation that is to the disadvantage of the people. It appears that the Government becomes more and more entangled in more and more complicated affairs while ignoring the people. Jupiter rules the 10th house, and Mercury rules the 4th. Jupiter is in the 3rd and Mercury is in the 12th. Fruitless arguments and chicanery are indicated, and the press is misdirecting the attention of the people. The Ascendent of the US vernal equinox chart is in Pisces denoting that this conditions will continue about half the year. And while there is talk about possible war with Iran, this chart does not show it.

The July 2012 New Moon in Astrology

The new moon at 26 Cancer occured at 5:25 AM GMD on July 19. The chart of the new moon interacts with the summer solstice chart of June 21st as follows. At the summer solstice Uranus and Pluto were exactly square one another denoting a very tense, potentially violent summer ahead. At this new moon we see that Mars has come to oppose Uranus and square Pluto. Mars is now exactly opposite Uranus. This is a month of extreme turmoil in western Europe.

The charts for the UK, France, Bruxelles, Ireland, Portugal, and Spain all have Uranus at the zenith opposed to Mars. We can anticipate an alarming development. Where exactly is not altogether clear, but let's narrow it down.

The charts of the UK, France, and Bruxelles have Aries on the Mid-Heaven. The charts of Portugal, Ireland, and Spain have Pisces on the Mid-Heaven. A violent event is more likely to happen with Aries on the Mid-Heaven, as Pisces puts Uranus and Mars in interception and planets intercepted don't act with as much force as they would otherwise. The chart of Bruxelles has Uranus exactly at the zenith, but from the 9th house, and Mars exactly at the nadir, but from the 3rd house. Bruxelles, and therefore the entire EU, will be involved in whatever happens, but the actual place of events indicated by the opposition of Uranus and Mars appears more probably to be France and/or the UK.

Narrowing it down more, we see that the chart for the UK has 29 degrees Cancer rising, and the chart for France has 28 degrees Cancer rising. 29 degrees is the more ominous of the two. 29 degrees is unfortunate.

Uranus at the zenith opposed by Mars shows untoward developments in Government circles. Mars shows the same, points to fires or explosions in public buildings, and shows the people in angry opposition to the Government. There are any number of events that could happen, but considering the seriousness of the banking scandal this may point to violent developments in Government circles. In light of the London Olympics, this chart is also quite troubling. It clearly points to violence.

Looking more closely at the UK chart we see that Uranus in the 10th house is the ruler of the 8th house. Mars in the 4th house is the ruler of the 10th. This points to a death in the highest circle. While the nature of Uranus and Mars is violent, the force of this aspect is somewhat mitigated: Uranus and Mars are in sextile and trine aspects with Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury. It is highly probable that someone of great social prominence will die quite suddenly. Very interesting to note: Mars is at 8 degrees Libra exactly conjunct the star Vindemiatrix, the star of widowhood.

Looking elsewhere in the world for noteworthy developments from Mars and Uranus, we find them stirring up trouble in India. In the chart for India we find Mars in the 1st house opposite Uranus in the 7th. This makes the entire region turbulent and prone to violence this month. The chart shows the people in an angry, discontent mood. There are probabilities of strikes, riots, fires, epidemics, and a rise in violent crimes.

Mundane Astrological view of the Fall Ingress, 9/23/11

Fall equinox came on September 23 at 9:06 AM GMT. The outstanding aspects cast by the Sun are his opposition to Uranus in Aries, square to Pluto in Capricorn, sextile to Moon and sextile to Mars, Moon and Mars in conjunction in Leo. Moon and Mars lend great strength and cause for some optimism to the Sun, making the Fall a constructive time despite the many untoward conditions of this time shown by the Sun in T-square with Uranus and Pluto. There is a great deal of tension in the world of politics and finances now.

We notice that in the spring equinox chart Saturn was at 14 degrees Libra and Moon was at 17 degrees Libra. Now, at the fall equinox we find Saturn at 17 degrees Libra; the conjunction of Saturn and Moon at the spring equinox is now exact. What this means is that the unfortunate trends of economic difficulties, bad trade relations, tendencies to disorder and depression in the world, political affairs going awry, the people suffering because of unemployment, crop failures, trouble with banks and stock markets, troubled affairs in parliaments and in congress, embarrassments to Governments with possibilities of deaths in Government circles is now coming to a head.

Looking at the chart of the New York Stock Exchange we see Uranus in the 10th house in Aries opposite the Sun in Libra and square Pluto in Capricorn. This shows the market in a precarious and unstable condition this fall. This is confirmed by the New Moon chart, the New Moon coming on September 27th at 11:10 AM GMT. The New Moon is at 4 degrees Libra opposite Uranus and square Pluto. This means that the lunation period of September 27th to October 26th is going to see very unstable market activity with sudden losses accompanied by some sharp gains as shown by Mars in Leo tightly trine Uranus and sextile the new Moon.

In the fall equinox chart the Sun opposite Uranus and square Pluto shows sudden and unexpected troubles coming to heads of state, ill considered legislation, political blunders bringing losses of friends and gain of enemies, party splits, strikes, protests and riots, and failures of Governments. Where there are elections great changes are to be expected. Watch the situation in Spain.

The fall equinox Sun sextile the Moon helps mitigate some of the more dire indications of the Sun opposition Uranus and square Pluto. The Sun sextile Moon will help bridge some of the tensions between the Government and the people and will encourage productive business activity at home and abroad despite all the trouble otherwise shown.

The fall equinox Sun sextile Mars gives strength to heads of state as well as to the military. This, accompanied with the Sun in T-square Uranus and Pluto means that military activity is going to increase this fall; a lot of destructive activity is to be anticipated. The positive side of the Sun sextile Mars, barring the glaring opposition of the military powers against the developing world, especially seen in the current plight of Africa, is that it gives the world the opportunity to cooperate and constructively improve international relations. Whether the world uses the positive possibilities offered by the heavens now is to be seen.

The fall equinox chart for the UK has the Sun in the 11th house opposite Uranus in the 5th and square Pluto in the 2nd. This shows the Parliament at odds over troubles affecting the condition of the economy, difficult diplomatic relations, and problems in education. The Sun opposite Uranus also shows increasing opposition to the Prime Minister. The Moon and Mars sextile the Sun from the 9th house shows Britain's involvement in foreign wars contributing to the discontentment of the opposition to the current Government. These problems will not resolve easily or quickly. Looking at the transits of Pluto, the turmoil in Britain and in the Euro Zone as well as in Australia will increase through the rest of this year, through 2012 and into 2013.

The fall equinox chart for Germany has the Sun in the 10th house opposite Uranus in the 5th and square Pluto in the 2nd. Opposition to the Government in Germany is more intense than in Britain. We note in this chart that Jupiter is the ruler of the 2nd house and is in the 6th house. Jupiter is square the Moon and Mars. Moon and Mars are sextile the Sun. This shows that the Government's actions toward the ailing countries in the Euro Zone is depleting the wealth of Germany and causing no small degree of distress, and this may cause big protests that will endanger the Government of Frau Merkel. Jupiter retrograde in the 6th house square Moon and Mars, with Pluto in the 2nd house in T-square with the Sun and Uranus is not at all benefiting the working classes. It is showing a big waste of money. It is also entirely against the better interests of Germany to engage in military activities now.

The Sun in the fall equinox chart is in the 10th house all through Central Europe, down through Central and South Africa, and eastward into the Middle East. The Sun is in the 10th house in Jerusalem. Simply put, Governments, and heads of state, in this region of the world are now subject to sudden and unexpected troubles. Political relations in this region are particularly fragile and unstable. Governments are prone to failures, or emergencies, and, if there are elections, to radical changes, and there are probabilities of strikes, protest movements and riots.

The fall equinox chart for Tehran, Iran has the Sun in the 9th house opposite Uranus in the 3rd and square Pluto in the 12th conjunct the Ascendent showing disputes and troubles coming from neigboring lands and from secret criminal elements, or clandestine enemies attempting to undermine the country. Mars and Moon in the 7th house square Jupiter in the 4th intensifies the probabilities of international disputes and warns of dangers of warlike activity. Mars in Leo points east by north, or the areas of Afghanistan and possibly Turkmanistan.

The chart for Pakistan is similar to that of Iran except Pluto is not conjunct the Ascendent, but is in the 12th house showing criminal activity coming into the country from neighboring lands. There are dangers of warlike activities, the northeast part of the country and the area near Kashmir appearing most vulnerable.

The chart for India has the Sun in the 8th house opposite Uranus in the 2nd and square Pluto in the 12th. Sun afflicted in the 8th house raises the death rate and brings death to notable people in the highest circles of the land. Uranus afflicted in the 2nd house brings unexpected losses, but trine Mars, brings unexpected gains as well. The stock market in India will be highly volatile this fall. Pluto afflicted in the 12th house brings misfortune to the poor and increases underground criminal activity as well as clandestine activity of enemies of the state. Mars and Moon in the 7th house square Jupiter in the 4th house also brings dangers of violence and potential military activity to India, the fall equinox chart showing unrest in the entire region of Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India as well as in Nepal and Tibet.

The chart for China has the Sun in the 7th house opposite Uranus in the 1st and square Pluto in the 10th. Jupiter is in the 2nd house. The Sun afflicted in the 7th house shows tense relations with foreign powers. Uranus afflicted in the 1st house shows turbulence among the people. There could be strikes, rioting and violent uprisings against the authorities. Pluto afflicted in the 10th house brings probabilities of Government crack downs on the one hand and purges in the Government of certain officials on the other. China is not in a good mood. Jupiter in the 2nd house, nonetheless, shows China's wealth increasing. Jupiter square Mars and Moon in the 6th house shows hard work. It also shows a possible epidemic, harsh conditions for workers, fires, explosions or accidents in work places and possible accidents on warships as well as internal conflicts in the military. Mercury, Sun, Venus and Saturn in the 7th house of the chart shows a strong focus on Chinese foreign relations this fall. In spite of all, however, China is prospering.

The chart for Japan has the Sun in the 6th house opposite Uranus in the 12th and square Pluto in the 9th. The national health of Japan is adversely affected. Jupiter in the 1st house gives the Japanese people a hopeful outlook, but square Mars and Moon in the 5th house with Mars ruling the 8th, this outlook is marred by a rise in deaths of children and women.

The equinox chart for Australia also has the Sun in the 6th house opposite Uranus in the 12th and square Pluto in the 9th. Jupiter is in the 1st house square Mars and Moon in the 4th house, and Saturn in in the 7th house precisely opposite the Ascendent. Unfavorable developments in the areas of labor and health come to attention. Saturn in the 7th house opposite the Ascendent is unfavorable for foreign affairs. Foreign trade is adversely affected. Saturn in Libra points to probable difficulties in trade relations with China. Mars and Moon in the 4th house square Jupiter in the 1st brings trouble to the Government due to the international trade and financial mess. It also points to potential fires or accidents in public buildings, mining accidents and earthquakes to the northeast of Australia in the area of ring of fire. Mars also adversely affects agriculture and the real estate market. The square of Mars and Jupiter shows losses of money affecting the people. There could be fires on the land this spring.

The equinox chart for Brazil has the Sun exactly conjunct the Ascendent opposite Uranus in the 7th house and square Pluto in the 4th house. Brazil is at a critical point in her relations with foreign powers eager to take control of her vast wealth. Pluto, the ruler of the 2nd house is in the 4th house; this points to matters connected to the land and natural resources. Mars and Moon in the 11th house are square to Jupiter in the 8th. The Moon rules the 10th and 11th houses and Mars rules the 7th. This appears to say that the Government, ruled by the Moon, is in danger of making international financial deals to its ultimate disadvantage.

The fall equinox chart for the USA has the Sun in the 1st house opposite Uranus in the 8th and square Pluto in the 4th showing the outlook marred by concerns over the debt, losses caused by natural and man-made disasters, and losses of natural resources, the drought in Texas being an example. Uranus afflicted in the 8th also denotes sudden and unexpected deaths caused by accidents, possible explosions, and suicides. Moon and Mars in the 11th house square Jupiter in the 9th house shows the Congress bickering over legal matters. Venus and Saturn in the 2nd house show how money coming is being limited by inroads caused by conditions of financial stagnation. Saturn is exactly semi-square Mars and Moon in the 11th house. There are clear dangers of losses and periods of sluggishness in the market.
